Yeah i'm still not sure why they couldn't sell like a laser pistol in The Hub somewhere but whatever, even with low Small Guns skill burst shots were completely broken. Abuse LoS so they get close and bam all enemies in the game are now piss easy

Nah I finished Fallout 1 (lol only weapon that can be upgraded is the plasma rifle thingie, its like the game knows it's broken), quests weren't very interesting. I suppose it was good when it was released but now its very mediocre

If Fallout 1 is mediocre with it's multiple quest paths, multiple endings and Skill system, what does that say about Fallout 3 then which can't even offer individual endings for settlements?.

F3 has multiple quest paths too, I agree with you on the endings, the skills were more balanced and useful in it (I wouldn't get punished for choosing Energy Weapons at the start because you can find a laser pistol pretty early on), it has more interesting places to actually explore so yeah its better than F1

The quest paths are limited to diplomatic or killing. Loads of choice!
And the game makes no logical sense. The story attempts to show one thing, while the game shows something totally different.
Overall Fallout 1 is much better then Fallout 3. Fallout 2 is even better.

Fallout 3 is waaaaay too combat focused, the writting in general si pretty weak, turnning any choice into Saintlygood/Just not being a douchebag or Mustache Twirlingly evil. Similarly the fact that energy weapons are scarce is kind of the point of it, they are end game weaponry, they are futuristic so they obviously shouldn't be given away on the first town the player visits, specially in Fallout 1 where it is just right after the war.
Similarly dialogue checks in Fallout 3 are always marked, and they always work like Jedi Mind tricks, a lot of times they aren't even well written and you just end up mindfucking people with magical powers instead of actually feeling like your character build mattered. Which I guess in Fo3 character builds didn't matter as you could max out everything with little porblem by level 30.

Hey man all I did was actually play the classics and talk about how I liked it, they're not all that great and F3/NV are better (with NV being the best yet obviously)

I tried but for some reason it freezed and bugged constantly at combat, I stopped trying because it was annoying so I instead went to play good games that didn't freeze and bug constantly.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas aren't some of them. Fallout New Vegas is good when you get rid of the bugs,
Patch the game, tons of FREE patches that get rid off most bugs.
But hey, it's been absolute ages since someones actually argued why the old games were bad. So why is that to you, I'm open to a civil debate.
