That's a good point...there aren't any screenshots to go along with the mod. I could take some but then again I am not sure how interesting they would be. I mean its the same engine, pretty much all the same looking critters, just new things to explore and do.

It can be. You will still have to start a new game.

There is no big gun animation for a tribal when you start the game. At least get through the Temple before you try to equip it. Then it won't crash.
oooh i see, my bad totally. never actually tried using the editor before the temple so figured it might be the pack, my apologies killap, awesome work like i said anyway!
 
Theres a little girl in the den residential area who spouts an Error when one attempts to talk to her. Another thing, though probably not to due with this, is that a knife wielding tribal scored a critical hit on a gecko for over a billion damage. What erks me is the gecko didnt die until the next round of combat.

I've seen weird deaths occur due to tons of damage. Seems like a crazy amount with the knife though. Not sure what to make of it...
 
The Little girl is in the upper right most building of the den residentail area. She is labled as a citizen of the den.

Yeah the Critcal hit thing was quite odd, the delay in the gecko's death is what erks me, as he exploded just after he took his turn.

Did do the orphanage quest yet? She works for me. (Just tested but didn't do the quest yet)

Are you using Goz's ammo mod that comes with the installer?
 
I had not done the Orphanage quest when I attempted to talk to her for the first time. After the orphanage quest, she still said error.

No, I'm not using the ammo mod that came with the expansion pack.
 
Wait, are you playing as a female? I think I just found a bug in the script. Damn. Didn't do any major testing as female.

That would be it then. I have corrected the issue.

Grab the file here:
(right click and save as)
Just copy this over to your Fallout2\data\Text\English\Dialog folder and overwrite the one there.

Nope, just replace the file and play on like usual. Click on the girl again and she should give the correct float text.

Please be specific. What did you do before this. Have you saved during combat in a previous kaga encounter. Did you install any of the extras?

1)I think that there is a minor bug with the trappers whom i meet while traveling to the den, i had 135 coins on me and i could still buy the golden pelts for 187, the trappers wouldn't even take any money from me...

2)It would be awesome if aunt Morlis would reject the barter button, it seems wrong to just trade her 2xscorpion tail for the flint :S

EDIT: after my cash went under the silver gecko price, i had to have sex with a trapper for the golden pelt... guess its just a messed up variable that instead of checking the sex thing for the golden pelt cash checks for the silver one and since cash cant go negative then it doesnt take any money from the char.
 
yes, i put all the extras in...

i never save during combat... first time crashed when i stepped the exit grid after kapa got away, second was during combat..
