Derek already answered this question when you asked it on the previous page:

Also there is no level cap for the player in F2, only for the NPC's.

Killap's RP Mod does not alter this.

Well, it doesn't really make sense to put that mod. In most cases, armor is rendered useless if you unload half of the clip in a guy.
...but if you kill the enemy with shot in the eyes, it should be good as new ;)
Anyway, there are science and repair skill requirements for every type of armour. For example:
Leather jacket - 50 repair
Horrigan's Armor - 160 repair, 145 science

I don't like the Lootable Armour mod, I played it in Megamod and it was way too easy. The special encouter where a rat kills a bunch of dudes in power armor, you'd get their armors for your party. Wuppiduu
To get the power armour you need 130 repair, 110 science and advanced power armour requires 140 repair and 120 science. You don't have these kind of skills early in the game.

Anyway, I was thinking it could be OPTIONAL - just like NPC armour mod and AP bullets.

Just an FYI about the lootable armor mod: those values (science and/or repair) for being able to get the armor when a critter is killed is not a part of the original mod. The original just creates the armor when a critter is killed, regardless of the main character's skills. Those were values I added.

(As a further aside, to TJ07 and anyone else who comes across the lootable armor mod (or another other component) of the Megamod or any other project, and they think it makes their game too easy -
Feel free not to take advantage of the armor, location, or whatever. Just ignore it. Regarding the armor, it's pretty dang simple, as the armor isn't added to your inventory... nor the money from any shopkeepers for that matter. Try exercising a little restraint. I'm sure you don't go through the game picking up, using, and/or selling each and every piece of gear. And if you feel as though getting the power armor you found makes your game too easy, for example, then go back to another armor.)

Could you upload somewhere the ssl files you created and drop a link to decompiler/editor you use?

Yeah sorry, don't have a lot of restraint when it comes to Fallout. If I get something easy I'm still really thrilled about it. Not criticising your Megamod, it's awesome :P

Thanks. But, really, there are still too many issues with it. I'll get them resolved eventually.

Got problem with Fallout 2 and Restoration Project 1.2 and can't find solution. Maybe somebody from will be able to help me.

During playing everytking is great, till i tried to get into Broken Hills. It looks that graphic of this city is not loading becouse screen is black there is nothing on. Only the cursor left behing its move red hex path.

Have somebody such problem? How can I fix it?

In earlier versions RP used B-Team Armor Mod because of which NPCs were allowed to use any weapon while wearing some armor, but now NPC Armor mod is used instead and this shouldn't happen. Maybe, there are still some parts of B-Team mod left?

seems like the right anwser, maybe its just because he wore the mentioned armor which i think is unique, and thus maybe slipped through the grid

thx

Something didn't install correct or disappeared later.
I would suggest you try to reinstall the RP, if that don't work, try to reinstall Fallout 2 as well. Keep your save games, they are not the problem.

I was trying such solution. Nothing changes. Have to search more and try to install on other version of Fallout. Maybe it is only some bug of Polish version of RP.

I'm guessing that the Miria Mod doesn't work with this patch? I installed it right in the Data folder like it said and she never leveled up. :(

Is there something I need to know about this patch to get it to work?

@all

ive encounterd another bug, i think

dont know if somebody adressed this before me but here we go

When you kill frog morton his 2 brothers will come after you,
is the last morton supposed to wear POWER ARMOUR and wield a BOZAR!!!???

i dont remember it like that!

well i had the this encounter in the area around of new reno, and when i had found it again near klamath there were only thugs in leather clothes and im pretty sure there was no morton brother with them, i also didnt find any special weapons on em, what gear does the last morton have??

fuzzy stuff^^

Its been discussed already on several pages in RP 1.2 topic and RP 1.1 topic I believe... Answer is "yes".

P.S. Feel free to use the search function, ull find EVERYTHING. Even some snapshots ;-)

so i assume by "yes" you mean he is

"supposed to be such a badass who you will proably not beat at the time you encounter him???"

sounds stupid but what ya gonna do?

a nother thing though, is the loot in the lockers of the security wing in the EPA random?

ive read you could find a gattling laser, gauss pistol and a pulse pistol there, i did not find any of these.
i was really loking forward to the gaus pistol :(

thx!

I think it actually is a bug, some mix-up with the mysterious stranger or something. I don't quite remember what was said so don't quote me on it.

It's not random, but how it used to be in the RP before version 1.2
I guess that section was accidentally missed when the guide was updated.

I think this only happens if you choose to use the improved Mysterious Stranger option in the installer. It makes the Mysterious Stranger become progressively more badass throughout the game. However, the bug is that the same script also effects the Morton Brothers. So until Killap addresses this, the solution is not to choose the "Improved Mysterious Stranger" option in the installer.

or, to whack him with AP rockets and turbo plasma shots!

i got so annoyed by this! :falloutonline:

thx for the info though!

i never used the "stranger" perk in any FO game and proably never will, so i won´t include it if i ever have to re-install.

thx
