What Elitech said, and also the German version was censored.
You will most likely need to get the blutpatch as well, just google for one.
 
Okay okay. Time to reinstall the game.

The bloodpatch? I tought the restoration patch had something like this?

Okay, i read the TechWiki and found nothing. ( if i'm mistaken, correct me O_o )

I uninstalled the game, cleaned the folder from all the rest and installed the german version of Fallout 2 again and patched it with the RP 1.2.

I started a new game, played till Klamath and went to the west side of Downtown - it crashes again.
Next time i will install the US version and try it again.

There seems to be an issue with skynet... Despite getting the cybernetic brain, it won't level. Or rather, it'll level, but its hit points and presumably its other attributes all reset. Interestingly, it seems to keep track of how many times it has leveled up still, but everything is reset after leaving the map. It's a pity because I really like skynet, if for no other reason than the novelty.

Solution is simple: delete the file "00000079.pro" from the "data\Proto\Critters\" directory. After that levelling up will be normal, but if he's already reached his max level, he'll be stuck at level 1, so revert to an earlier savegame or put up with it.

The Klamath bug never happened with me but whenever I go on to the first Primitive Tribe map it crashes the game, apparently it's related to the OS the computer is on, I'm on ME. My friend on XP can go on it fine.

And the fix for that has been mentioned in this thread several times already, in case you were not aware of that.
 
I have encountered a weird problem and I don't think its been addressed in this thread. Currently in several savegames, after travelling only a short distance on the world map I enter the scripted encounter with the old man and the bridge. The encounter is bugged because the map frame is locked in the starting location and you can't scroll up. The problem with this is that there is no way to leave the map unless by crossing the bridge, which I can't do because I can't scroll. What is interesting that when the character enters the map he exclaims that I should better save the game in a different slot. However, this does not solve the problem.

Does anyone have a clue what might be causing this? Before I played RP I never had a bug like this, of course this does not mean that RP is necesseraliy the cause. Thanks for any help with this.

Have you tried to scroll to the sides before scrolling up?
It only won't scroll up when it's centered, it has to do with scroll blockers on the map. If that's not what you mean, maybe you could put up a screenshot (push F12 in-game)?

Yup have tried scrolling to the sides first but to no avail. I can put up a screenshot tomorrow, but I don't think it will help much, all you see is the bottom part of the map with the tip of the bridge and the legs of bridge guardian. You can interact with him and even pass his test. But then he just walks north and I'm stuck for good.

Cant use Weapons anymore

Hey Guys I'm in San Francisco and suddenly noticed that none of my Weapons will work anymore. I cant push the item-butten with a weapon equipped. When nothing is in hands it still works and shows me the aps i would need for an attack. But with a weapon in the slot, the button is just gray and shows no aps and isnt pushable.

I searched the forum but found no clues waht to do. Can someone help me? Wouldnt want to abandon the save...

just looked at the character-screen and saw that both my arms were crippled in the fight with lo-pan. So problems solved...

First time this happened to me so dont get a false opinion of me ;)
 
Crippled limbs would have been the first question; this gets asked fairly regularly. I am impressed that you managed to get *both* arms crippled at the same time.

P.S. No, its not out yet, just giving my 5 cents - wanna be the first to say how cool it is :-D
