killap said:This is probably the reason. You are running 1.2, yes? You did say latest version, so I assume yes. Looking back at page 1 of this thread I see some post fixes that I said were not included in the latest installer. Since it's been almost 2 years since I wrote that, I guess I never bothered adding them in. That's dumb on my part... Anyway, please grab those fixes. Do let me know what happens.aenemic said:and done a whole lot of stuff like rescuing Sulik's sister
June 18th:
*This has not yet been added to the installer/archive. You will have to apply this fix seperately.*
Fixes the problem with Eldridge's special inventory restocking incorrectly.
Grab fix here (Just copy this file to your fallout2/data/scripts folder and overwrite what is there.)
July 6th:
*This has not yet been added to the installer/archive. You will have to apply this fix seperately.*
*This is an updated, and updated again, fix to the problem with the car and the Primitive Tribe*
Prevents car from appearing at the Tribe after rescuing Sulik's sister when you don't have the car in the first place. Also fixes the bug where the car could be lost if you didn't leave the Primitive Tribe with it after returning Sulik's sister. Also fixes a similar problem if one attacks the Slaver Camp from NCR. Bug results in the car being lost forever. Grab fix here (Just copy this file to your fallout2/data/scripts folder and overwrite what is there.)

Going to the Enclave with the Vertibird would result in the ending slides not displaying correctly as well as being unable to continue playing the game. Grab fix here (Extract this .rar and copy the two files inside to your fallout2/data/scripts folder and overwrite what is there.)
Ah, thanks for that!mikekaye said:Hello, I transcribed a massive # of bugs from this thread onto the technical wiki:
I actually haven't looked at that page for about a year. It's pretty massive only because every one of Haenlomal's bug reports from F2 vanilla was posted there. That really shouldn't have been done.mikekaye said:Wondering how many of these bugs will be fixed for 2.0, if there's some that have been fixed but not updated in the wiki.

Just play 1.2, dudeRecon Rover Rick said:Killap, I'm at the beginning of spring break, so I'm kind of at a decision making point. I really, really want/need to play fallout, having some wicked withdrawal, but if RP 2.0 is going to be done like, in the next couple of days I'll just wait. So... Are we a couple days away, or should I stick with 1.2 for the time being?
Probably a silly question all things considered, but hey, may as well ask.
The earliest* I can have a release** ready is at the end of this weekend. So, I'm sorry to say that if you truly are desperate, then you'll have to go with 1.2.Recon Rover Rick said:Exactly one week. I have to be back next monday.
killap said:A multilingual release would obviously be released some time afterward if I go this route.

I'm just the opposite. I'm not one who can play a game over and over and still enjoy it (except things like arcade-style or 4X games which are inherently different every time). I installed 1.2 *just* before 1.3 was announced. A few hours into playing, I stopped to wait for the imminent (ha!) release of 1.3.kevinnguyen said:Just play 1.2, dude
I was in the same situation last year and I'm glad that I didn't wait
