Hm, I think leonpoi have found a bug. Sulik wont equip a knife while wearing leather armor in my game either. Killap, are the knife frames missing in the installer, or maybe only the script or whatever it is that tells the game what frames to use is a bit lacking?

He, the car trunk bug, I think that one might be a bit too hard for me.
Anyway is there any saves around for that one, I have never seen it.

Is refusing the only way to trigger the crash? The reason I ask is that both refusing and accepting take you through the indoctrination. Thus, both paths send you through the same nodes and the same variables being set.
I'll check that now and post the results...

Ok, I've checked this, and both joining the Hubologists or asking "how do I join" and refusing produces the crash. The strange thing is that the crash happens only on the next day or later; on the same day you joined/refused it won't crash, only on a later date.

Combat leather jacket doesn't seem to work either. Purple bridgekeeper robes work fine - so that's what he is now wearing.

I have been lurking and searching for a while, but I still have not found the answers to my questions, so I am going to ask here, hoping it has not been covered before.

1. What are the stats for the Marcus Armour? Or does it just look cool? Is it the same with Dogmeat's armour?

2. Does this mod enable the 4th best ending for Gecko? i.e. The Brain ending.

Thanks in advance!

I can tell you that Marcus in armor does carry some extra perks for him in the Megamod. I'd guess that Killap did the same for the RP. And I know for a fact that Dogmeat in armor carries extra perks, because I'm the one who made the script.

But, try the guide that was written for the RP. That is something better posted on that site anyway, so as not to clutter the thread or answer the question for people who'd rather not know. If it isn't in the guide, pm me.

Been lurking a long time and really enjoy the FRP patch. I am running into a crash in San Francisco however, in the Dragon's tests. I sent you my save Killap, and here's what I did before:

* Talked to the Dragon, accepted his tests, beat the first four and lost to the fifth fighter, Master Rube.

* Talked to the Dragon again and restarted the challenge. Beat the first four, saved game in the middle of combat with Master Rube. Hit him in the groin, game crashed.

* Reloaded, and now the game crashes as soon as Rube makes an attack against me or I against him.

saved game in the middle of combat...
I think you've answered your own problem.

Don't save in combat. It's not reliable, even in vanilla fallout.

Edit: Although saving shouldn't cause any problems until you try loading the save again. Since it crashed the first time maybe it is a real bug. :?

@Golan2072
Alright, good to know. This is really strange though...

@leonpoi
Ok. Let me know if any other armors/npcs have the same type of problem.

@Jihan Nyhn
Yes, the endings for Gecko have been corrected. You can get the best ending in both my unofficial patch and the RP.

@Malbecco
I'll see what I can come up with regarding your issue.

I vote that killap put everything available from the installer option into the manual install option. If you don't know how to install without the installer then you shouldn't be using that option. If you do, then you should have all options available.

edit:
or just to have all the files available, since Microslop Windblows 2027 sometimes fucts things up and we need to replace files from a bad installation

I second this. No reason to have a manual install version of the mod and not include all the extras. .rar's of the addons could be put in the manual archive with an install order readme for people who want to use more than one.

Another small bug:
When I talked to aunt Morlis about flint with a high speech character she said:
"I'm sorry, but I seem to have misplaced the flint somewhere... I wish you a safe journey though". despite that I got the flint from her and recived 50 exp points.

I had this happen to me too in RP v1.2 but it worked normally in v1.1.

extension, not expansion thing? ;)

Just a heads up to everyone, but it looks like 1.3 will require starting a new game - old saves will not work. Sorry about this, but the new content breaks current save games.

Keep this in mind while you play or prepare to start a new game.

Hey killap, just have a quick question

Was wondering if the Miria mod was compatible with the RP? Or, if not, was there anything planned for improving her in the future?

Sorry if this was asked, but it's hard looking through 30 pages of posts :P

Yep, this is the first time I've encountered a time-sensitive crash; is there anything that is supposed to happen in the Hubologist base some time after you join them?

This bug could probably be avoided by not talking to the recruiting celebrities at all, but that would mean that I'll miss their funny dialog and the funnier holodisk...

So, we can confirm that the apparent Hubologist crash is not triggered if you join them?
It IS triggered when you join them, OR when you ask them "how do I join" and then refuse. The "How do I join" conversation option is probably what matters, not what comes after it.

Damn it. There goes my membership in a crazy, powerful cult with access to high-tech weaponry.
