Well, Game crashes when I try to load my savegame (3rd encounter with Kaga). Says something about memory access failed or something.
Happened earlier - almost all the time during encounters.. Maybe it's fault of turning on the option:
WorldMapEncounterFix=1

When I fight against Lenny in the ring under the bar outside NCR and the anti-mutant serum is used in the fight (sincemy unarmed skill is not the best) against him, he collapses after one round and the game is stuck in some sort of loop without continueing.

Also when I was using the modified autodocs in EPA blue level one or two of them had lines with just read "error" in addition to the gender and hairstyle changing abilities. I don't know if this is on purpose but I guess not.

Since at least the first thing is some sort of really annoying I only included this in the bugwiki.

Edit: Another thing I remember was the little annoying quest order in EPA. Couldn't fix the lighting first and was about to give up after hours of running around in EPA when I finally found out how to fix the problem with the holograms and got the quest to resolve the problem with the lighting. Now I suddenly could fix the generator with the junk without even spending one more point to my repair skill.
 
Hello. I istalled this mod. Of course its great. I dont have any problema with the game itself.


I want to do one modification to it. I know for you guys its a piece of cake, but for me its a problem.
I want to make Vic into a revolver guy with the blue jeans, black coat critter (like Ian in F1).

I know that I have to change the critters for Vic, Vic1,2,3,4,5,6. I also have to change him on the Den citymap.

But the mapper2 wont work on the restoration mod. I would like to know what to do. What mapper I should use? I would also like to know how to change the map of Den, because I only know how to change critters so far.
 
[spoiler:507511077a]Finished the game, and the after ending special encounter was awesome! I was wondering what changes were made to post game content. I got an item from the special encounter, and headed to the abbey, but can't find anything new there. Just wanted to check and see what there is so I don't miss anything!

Oh yeah, one more question:

Yes, of course they are. :P
Actually there are two parts of the steel railing that still have the shoot through flag set. One is on the north side and the other is to the south, or hex 19704 and 21505 (sorry, too lazy to put up a picture).

NewVic, you didn't use the city limits patch, did you?
It's needed to edit RP Maps. (Only patch the mapper exe, not your fallout2.exe).

wtf... Seriously, how the crap did I miss this!? I swear it was all patched. Damn regressions...

It's another encounter, similar to Willy, yet a standard caravan. Willy will always like you :) AFAIR One of them was "you encounter trader and some guards" while the other "you encounter trader with guards", sth like that

YOU HAVE OVERWRITTEN THE RP DDRAW.INI! REVERT BACK IMMEDIATELY BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

Did a fresh install before installing the new release. Using windows 7. Some help would be appreciated. Never had this problem with the earlier releases.
 
Has anyone seen Sulik use the swing attack on a sledgehammer or super sledge? Sulik is on "ranged then melee" settings for me and has had a super sledge to switch to since New Reno (I'm just about finishing San Fran quests) and all I'm seeing in fights is the thrust attack, which just looks lame. If you have a hammer you want to smash bad dudes' heads in, not gently push them away.

You installed the original game to the program files directory. Remove everything and reinstall the game to another location.

Still cool to watch, Marcus grenaded 2 of them and Cassidy killed others, include Lo Pan.

BTW, EPA and Abbey don't have a dialogue window background, they both use the default wasteland background.

is there a way to make the installer detects if the user is using windows vista/2008/seven and FORBID the installer to install the F2RP if the game is in the program files directory and warn him to install the game in another folder to end these reports ONCE AND FOR ALL?

Just picked up Vic - bought him from Metzger. When I talk to him, I choose "I need to ask you about something." Then I have the option to say "Where is your friend Ed, again?" Ed hasn't been mentioned yet at this point AFAIR, so I don't know how my character knows to ask about Ed. Dialog bug?

Holy shit, that bug still persists?
 
I installed clean Fallout 2 from GOG.com (was never installed on this system), and on it I installed Restoration Project 2.1.2b (full, no tweaks or anything).

I did not do any further changes - just clicked on the desktop shortcut.

The game did not run and instead gave me a message

"fallout appears to be running in compatibility mode"

huh ? so I checked the compatibility panel on fallout2.exe, one thing was checked - "run in 256 color mode"

So I unchecked this.

Now the game runs, but the colors are screwed up in introduction videos and in menu (I did not try the game, I would not want to play it like this anyway).I tried to change resolution to 1280*800 and restart the game, but colors are still funky.

Anyone know what the problem is?
I have nVidia GTX280 with 258.96 drivers, on Windows 7 64bit Home Premium.

Never had this problem on WinXP.

EDIT: - had to change graphics mode to 4 instead of 0, with dx9 it works..hopefully it will be ok.
Anyway, is this normal on win7? Or is anyone playing it with graphics mode 0?
 
Okay something else I noticed twice now: when I have found more than one knife, sometimes they sort into two stacks in inventory: one knife will be separated from the others, but their descriptions are identical. I'm assuming this is because they're two different objects in the code somewhere? It's like having two guns with different kinds of ammo ... but knives have no ammo of course. Weirdness. (Bug or not, I'm not sure.)

Found some little bugs:

1. Someone might want to look into Marcus' new model, sometimes he has bad offset I guess when a random battle is loaded. For example, I found him stood behind the Chosen One, so I strafed the front just to find he got killed instead. If I didn't move and let him take the first action, he just 'teleported' in front of the Chosen One.

2. Enemies spawn inside walls, sometimes the Mysterious stranger too. I guess they use the same logic.

3. Empty encounters(I have a save if someone is interested, but I guess this is an old bug).

4. Not sure whether it is a fix or bug. I recall the Chosen One gained 1 damage resistance after each boxing match, but this time I found the bonus was gone. Though the 5% bonus was still applied after the final match. BTW, I had the matches after I did the combat armor implement surgery.

It's a fix by sfall. The actual bonus of Prizefighter is +5% for both DR and Unarmed skill.
