You mean in 2.1.1 ? or 2.0 ? Hmmph.... maybe the fighting system... i encoutered crashes in 2.0 when i was trying to shoot somebody that did stand in the collision with a dead body, and when i moved the cursor at it/him the cursor showed like -762 and the game always crashed sometime after that... like in the end of the turn, or map exit and stuff... but i hasnt to be taht i did see the weird number for it to crash, only that i was sure it will crash when the weird number showed.

Bah, hate random crashes... it's hard to pinpoit the source.

I'm not sure what the reason would be for this, but I found myself having a lot of seemingly random crashes in combat until I decided not to install the Fallout 1 gun sounds. Maybe it was simply a coincidence, but I no longer got the random crashes.
 
In my game The Director of Security in the EPA, gives me at some point a dialouge with 3 options, all of them "error" and his own text also says "error".

Is he supposed to say that?
 
Regarding the "random crash problem"...
I had this issue during 2.0 when my percentage was lower than about 30% it crashs...
Killap has to check this...maybe it´s the same problem the others are talking about..

If I would want to try that, will i still be able to use my 'old' save game?

Confirmed - i've noticed same issue, when i'd repaired the robot-controlling terminal BEFORE talking to Hologram 10001. (clean Fallout2 + RPv2.1.1)

I'd really appreciate it if people start posting to the bug wiki rather than dumping here.

Did you still experience this with 2.1.1 or were you referring to an old beta you tested?

Possibly, try adding the link to your sig. People will be more apt to notice it.
 
scoped hunting rifle in broken hills ( quest reward? I didn't buy one ) is currently doing criticals for no damage on the ants in the mine...
 
The holodisk outside of the Mariposa Military base dissappears (or, consumed) after you use it. No other holodisk did this before
 
Slightly offtopic, but a quick question to Killap or anyone who would know; what is the exact requirement for biting off the Masticator's ear? I've heard that a luck of ten is necessary, I've heard that an extremely high unarmed skill (160ish according to Per's guide), and I've also heard that one must be a Beserker. Could anyone verify what, exactly, is the requirement? Also, does one need to target the head to get the ear (I would assume so)?
 
according to Per's guide, the high Unarmed skill is the only requirement (Skill and stats wise), but his guide also implies that having your ears bit off is also a requirement (which requires you having your HP to be 115 or lower. He didnt mention whether thats current HP or Max HP)

I have not heard of any other requirements

Do the other Military holodisks do this or just the one outside?

I remember I've reported this issue before...
Only MB holodisk 5 disappeared after the use.

Beta. I've yet to try out 2.1.1 as I'm been really busy lately.

Yeah, I believe you did. In any event, I finally found the cause of the problem. Very odd, but it's fixed now.

Expect an update (2.1.2) to be released in a few days. There is a nasty crash bug with the NCR Lenny fight that I want to patch up. Once this update is released, I'm taking a hiatus. I need a break from modding.

Will the update incorporate any other fixes to recently reported bugs?

Anyway, enjoy your coming hiatus. You've sure as hell earned it.
