It was worse in many ways, i dont know why, i.e. under preferences the other tabs for Resolution and Sfall I think it was were there but blank and unclickable, when i started a new game the same red text thing happened, then when I exited game it went back to the menu where everything turned into a blurred mess, and the time before that just starting fallout just froze my comp. XD

But ill just install it back to prog files and figure out the red text since everything else seemed right that way, and you're right, the text in the bottom still says RP 2.0, not 2.1.1, the rock says 2.1.1, but I read last thread that it was normal I thought.

I wonder if it has anything to do with 64 bit. -_- I just want it to be playable! /cries

Wait, why does it say 2.0? I thought this was being done on a clean install? Try this: Completely uninstall the original game and RP. Make sure there are no files left behind. Next, reinstall the game (humongous install). After that, install the RP through the installer. Don't install the game or the RP to program files. Also, like Aphyosis said, disable UAC when you install both the game and the RP.
 
okay after i rescue smiley and go to Mrs Buckner for the reward, no matter which option i take 1 or 2 it always comes up like i asked her for money. this is not the reward i'm looking for on this run through. hmmm... sorry i dont know how to upload a save. i'll come back to edit this post
 
i just completed my run of RP2.1 while seeing RP2.1.1 being uploaded... anyway, Killap mentioned about something special after the game ends.. were you referring to the end credits? kudos guys.. u deserved it..

is there be a new-arroyo? with the new v13 people? new shape domes? like vc & v15?
 
Ok, I think I have it all fixed now, a 3rd Hard Drive, disabled UAC, Custom Directory, no more red text, things seem to be working fine, and so the game starts! Thanks to everyone who just helped me! :D And thank you so much for the RP!

chewbacca look like a brown cactus.. omg.. i managed to slice x'ill and the modder (ian) next to him.. haha.. i also managed to kill pixote (mr.handy).. i superstimmed obi-wan-killap.. rest 30min and bear dude is dead... with the amount of superstimpak i had.. i managed to kill half of the critters,, haha[/spoiler:6981e1e08b]

also when speaking to emperor timeslip, the dialog refer him as chef.. i think u meant "chief"?[/spoiler:fa8b793187]

I have maybe another problem - serious one.

I did see my Miria acting strange, running with full HP and stuff ... maybe its not a bug but -

- If i have the installation of 2.0e RP with the Miria mod for 2.0, and then use the install for 2.1.1, load a game, what happends to her ? Because the install does not have the miria mod in itself, and i dunno if it rewrites the miria mod files (well... the critter list may be rewrited...) ..... could this screw Miria up? Temporarily or Permanently ? (like if i wait for the 2.1.1 version of Miria For Real mod/or do it by himself like i did with 1.2 to 2.0 before it was official) then use it, what would that do ?

This could be a serious savegame bug if unnatended. :shock:

The RP 2.1 will overwrite most of the files of the Miria for real mod.
I don't know what will happen with your saves. Best case scenario is that she will work as normal (as in without the Miria mod) I suppose.
I do know that the Miria mod 2.0 is not compatible with the RP 2.1.
I you install it it will overwrite some of the new critters. So potentially you may end up with a random encounter with lots of Mirias running around instead of red dogs. :lol:
 
OK, i have reedited the Miria for Real! version 2.0 for version 2.1.1 - it no longer screws the critter list, and uses new protos to do it - try it, check it out, betatest it.

[spoiler:66c88673a4]Yes, combat is not allowed. You don't get to kill me. There is no floating text for MIB88, but do look at the message window. It is all in good fun. Chef is correct there. We're talking about cooking in that dialogue.[/spoiler:66c88673a4]
 
Umm, Killap, will you add the Miria for Real! 2.1.1 to your wiki ?

I did rename critters, make the correct changes (like the pro_crits names) redone the critter list so it works with the critters of 2.1.1 that were changed from 2.0/2.1 and doesnt overwrite something ...... and modified the readme file :D.

That wikia is open for all to edit, you don't even have to register. So if you want to be sure it gets done you better do it yourself. ;)
But please try to make sure it works properly first, mind.

And because i am not 100% sure (just 99%, in anything there is the 1% that could go awry) i will let you to edit the wiki. I just wanted to know that Killaps knows about it, so he can add it later after someone tested it. But ok, i will edit the wiki ... or try :D .
