Hell, I didn't know that there's an option to say your companions to put the weapons away.
Sorry. The fact that you mentioned your companions as a possible cause, lead me to believe you already knew about this.
I just thought you were lazy or something. :P

When i was waiting for the RP 2.1 and 2.0, i did start to play some other game. The game is called RL (Real Life) and is the most bugged game i did ever play.Its hard as hell, and seems to not be finishable , gameplay sucks, and the saves doesn't work - instead i got save on exit type of saving, when my char is going to sleep ! My stats and skills are extremely low, and i seriously hate that game !!! I always end up doing stupid mistakes, unable to load the game !

So i want to thank killap once again for the Restoration Project. Otherwise i would be stuck with that RL game.

PS: After searching the net i cannot find walkthrough or cheats for the Real Life game. I really need money otherwise my char might die of starvation ! Hating the coder who programmed needs to this game !! :F

Is it still possible to get the extra toes in toxic caves? becouse i cant seem to get him to say the line with the itching feet, nomatter how much goo i step in :(

The appearance of Lenny doesn't change when I give him a leather armor.
How do I turn him into a glowing ghoul, I have given him a lot of glowing booze from Wooz (perhaps not enough). Is the glowing state permanent?

Kitsune does not assist me with lockpicking, even though I have installed 2.1.1 over my 2.1 version.
Do I have to do something special to make it work
Yep, wait for a fix.
Killap, Lockpick has to be Kitsune's highest skill for it to work, and right now it's not in any of her protos.

On the 8th step in goo (without rubber boots or power armor), you should get that "itchy" line. Works for me.

I'm pretty certain Lenny is not part of the armor mod (He's not exactly the most popular NPC so 'fixing' him is probably not high priority).
He only needs one radiated drink to glow (permanently I believe).
He does not change into one of those whitish ghouls though, but what happens is that he get's a small radius of light around him that can be seen at nighttime (the same as the player character has).

Ah, man I totally made that change! I guess I forgot to include the new protos...

Ok thanks for clearing that up, I'm one of the few who likes the old doc I guess :)

@joochian: I like the description. As Killap said, it's all in fun. No hard feelings or rivalries at all.

[spoiler:54a41a942a]aw.. combat is not allowed here?.. hey there's no float text for MIBoba fe88.. do i detect some rivalries in modmakers? imperial ship looks awkward.. mfalcon is ok...

[spoiler:54a41a942a]Yes, combat is not allowed. You don't get to kill me. There is no floating text for MIB88, but do look at the message window. It is all in good fun. Chef is correct there. We're talking about cooking in that dialogue.[/spoiler:54a41a942a]

Found one thing. Grisham in Modoc gets 20 new shotgun shells every time you talk to him. You could easily get hundreds of shells by stealing from him, talking to him and then stealing again.
I'm not seeing this. Do you have a save game to confirm?

@everyone
Did meat jerky ever do anything before? I keep getting reports of it not working, but I don't actually think it ever did anything. I looked at the proto file and it's just a normal item that isn't supposed to do anything.

Oh boy, I got quite deep into 2.1 before checking back here at NMA. I did not realise it was a pre-release, I will have to start all over again (what a shame! ;D).

There is a bug in 2.1, where I can't get the mine parts from Renesco because everytime I initiate dialogue with him it gives me the same options, which read as though it's the first time I've met him. Was this identified (and fixed)?

Also, of course, this is amazing work killap and your dedication is outstanding. Thank you!

@Darek
According to the F2 critter utility program, lockpick is the highest for all of Kistune's protos, but perhaps this isn't the case because her stats increase the other skills...

EDIT: And yeah, according to the mapper this is indeed the case. Blah, I should have checked there. Oh, well. I'll fix this.

I don't think so, besides being able to feed it to the dog in Klamath to get the key. (And maybe feeding it to Cody outside the Cat's Paw if you're feeling nice?)

Can confirm that on vanilla FO2 jerky never did anything. As the above poster said, it's only use outside of feeding certain characters in scripted sequences was to distract geckos and such.

Was the voice control module re-added into 2.1.1? I never entered any of the [spoiler:eecb1abed8]Vault 8 [/spoiler:eecb1abed8]maps until I installed the update, but I still couldn't find it.

@VRaptor117
Ah, it looks like the map fix didn't make it in. I'm not sure why, but alas, it happened. Remember that location isn't the only place to find it.

Hmmm..I always picked it up there...Looks like I have some exploring to do.

Also, thanks for the awesome work you've done!

Check out New Reno arms. One is obtainable there - it's where I've always gotten it.

Klamath reputation

A quick question:

In Klamath when I arm-wrestled one of the Dunton brothers over in the Golden Gecko pub, my reputation dropped from accepted to antipathy. Furthermore the display monitor on the left-hand side didn't notify me that I had lost any karma. It's nothing major or anything but is this normal? I tried it a couple of times btw with the same result.

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know it never did, except on certain K9's:
[spoiler:d9e5f0d26c]The pooch down in Klamath will give a key in exchange for some delicious dry meat.[/spoiler:d9e5f0d26c]

There's a bug with the attack on the church on the Den. If the door is closed before you start the attack, it locks itself and there is no way to get the guys that are inside. Combat finishes, Lara takes you to attack Tyler, but when that combat is over she stays in combat taunts. If you go back to the church, she is there and tells you to attack Tyler, going into a loop.

Also, if the door is open before the attack, when you finish the quest, it stays open and locked.
