Is this a bug, or am I just trying to fix the wrong one?
This isn't a bug, you are trying to repair the wrong generator. :P

First big BIG thanks Killaps for the RP , really awesome especially after playing Fallout 3, who is not bad but JUST lack the depth of a fallout game...

i think i got a problem with the prizefighter reputation.
At the start of every match, i gain a permanent +3 bonus to my Damage Threshold for normal damage and a bonus of +2% Damage Resistance for normal damage, +5% for laser damage and +1% for the others.
It is a bug ?
Winning all the fight and earning the prizefighter reputation should give me only +5 Unarmed combat and +5 DR to normal damage if i understood well the Readme ?

Yup, you must find an alternate way to the sublevels. (when you're stuck, look few pages back in this thread - there are lots of spoilers for the EPA)

Just to make you feel a little better, you might like to know, that even though I helped to put the map together for the RP, I still haven’t worked out how to get through the EPA… :look:

How do I get the order printout for the enclave commander's guard so i can secure the fob?

It seems playing an idiot character and then Mentating him to a normal character will result many unepxected dialogue options, perhaps those new maps/quests haven't consider that yet? 8-) If so I will stop trying to report them as bugs since there must be too many things to be checked.

The issue is that a variable is set once you've talked to an npc and even though a stupid character gained nothing from the conversation, the game thinks you did. I suppose this is bad design on my part but I feel the same can happen with vanilla npcs. W/e, using mentats as a stupid character isn't really fair...

a few questions

just finished playing 2.1.1. which was tip-top awesome btw, thank you.

1. is there a time limit on freeing skynet? i couldn't seal the deal there, but i left to do other things and came back later after having had already talked to it.

2. i asked this question in another thread, but i think it would be better to have asked here (maybe?)- i couldn't get the presidential passkey to work.. i was fairly psycho'd up by the time i hit horrigan, but even with mentrats up to 10 int., tools, skills, and the passkey, i couldn't log on.

3. what is the consensus on getting the most out of the new reno families? who to start with and who to end with?

Elaborate? I checked the computer that you have to get the password for, but i got nothing.
[spoiler:cecc091ded]Hm, there isn't some "printout" or "password" for the guards. Chosen One needs to know, where is the FOB placed, that's all. Search the computer database for the FOB location and after that, talk to the guard again. New dialog option will appear there.[/spoiler:cecc091ded]

Hmm. When i try to repair the one that goes *whirr* it says that "Something doesn't seem right with this generator", but I can't seem to fix it. Tried just repairing and even using various items I found all over the place :(

You need the quest to repair it first. Go deeper into the EPA.

That makes sense, thanks. I'll take another hike though that. Have completed most of everything else, I believe.

BTW, after finishing Sulik's Sister quest Sulik leaves me at the village, saying that he'll wait for me at the exit. Whenever I talk to him again and even after leaving and returning, he'll keep telling me that he'll meet me on the way out and he's lost as an party-NPC to me

Just finished the game and it was really great overall.
Thanks to everyone who helped creating it.

A few minor things i came across:

-Fire Gecko Pelts are only valued 5
-there was no xp for fixing the generator in toxic caves (iirc there was in the original game)
-Skynet keeps disappearing(not only EPA, also occured at random encounters when you enter caves)
-these doors that keep closing are a little annoying(VC,EPA,Elevators)
-when you try to save during combat it always uses the current quicksave slot, the menu to pick another slot won't even show up

Fire Gecko pelts were said by the developers to be worthless due to their fucked-up state. That's why they don't even bother to allow you to skin them in the original game. Now in the RP you can skin them, but there's not much point to it.

In Fallout, it's never a good idea to save during combat in the first place, as it can cause weird issues.

Just wondered cause in the RP 1.x Versions they were worth 800 afaik.

I don't think this is a combat issue.
When i hit Esc in Combat modus and click on save, the game just overwrites the current quicksave slot, there is no option to pick another one.
This is not accidental, it occures in every combat.
