Fallout 3: official teaser trailer announced

That soundtrack is hella Conan the Barbarian. I like it. I wouldn't like it if it played all the time during Fallout 3, but I like it.

I like the soundtrack, the artwork is kind of..well....nondescript, although it seems to dispell the idea that Fallout 3 will be set in a big city on the east coast.

It's cool, but just doesn't scream FALLOUT to me. Definitely WASTELAND or CONAN. Not bad, though, and I dig the art.

I don't like it. In fact the more I listen to it, the more I hate it. It sets a completely wrong tone, and isn't fitting at all.

haha, music fucking sucks donkeydick... (edit: for a Fallout, that is)

and while very presumptuous to say: the art on the page looks very FP friendly.

It builds up tension toward the end, which is probably what ticks you off. The soundtrack's idea is pretty good, though, with the electronic sounds throughout and especially the beginning of the track.

You know better than that, SuAside. Trying to gather information about viewpoints from concept art is just HELLA stupid.

That music is more appropriate for a Gothic series games. If you listen to some of the music in the Gothic 1/2 soundtrack, you will notice similarities.

The music definately speaks of 'medieval fantasy' overtones; but this at least gives us a small glimpse at what the other music might be like - a demonstration of their musical abilities so to speak. :P

I don't know. I actually start to like it a lot more the longer I listen to it, especially the early parts of the track. It reminds me of the rat and scorpion caves.

I like it. It's just way too intrusive to be played during actual gameplay, in other words, it could use less drums, and it might be too medieval, but what else can you expect from Soule...

Nice electronic effects, nice song in general.

Like I said, count on the soundtrack being very good as Jeremy Soule worked on their previous games. :D

as for that track i hope it won't be an in-game one...
Hope that Soule won't make the whole soundtrack that orchestral and medieval-heroic...

I like it.. but not connected to Fallout...

and the concept art is very nice

I'm pretty sure that this is just a demonstration of their musical abilities and that this song most likely won't be in the game. If by some chance, they decide to include it in Fallout 3, it will most likely either be the credits music or the introduction music (staring at the main menu).

I too hope that the entire soundtrack won't sound medieval because it will kill the atmosphere. They should look into a genre of music called "ambient" - the reason I write this is because I know for sure that Bethesda reads our comments.

Great! Finally we see a reason to be happy or pissed! I hope that we have a reason to be happy though...

Just realised what that track reminds me of!

Of tanker movie in FO2 when you start for the Enclave :)

We should be happy, I suppose - knowing in full confidence that the music won't suck, even if it might be medieval (hopefully unlikely).

As for being pissed, I'm tired of being pissed. It's helping no one, what's done is done, the past is the past, and we should just look to the future - whatever it may be at this point.

I'm not diggin' that soundtrack at all. Too fantasy sounding. It doesn't remind me of Fallout what-so-ever. And that concept shot looks like a scene from Mordor. Not feeling good about this after seeing that site, but hey, it's still early and the teaser trailer might change my mind.

Sorry, gotta keep it real by voicing my opinion as a Fallout fan.
