Fallout 4 achievements and trophies available

@Walpknut
Well i'm a public prosecutor and what i noticed in last few years is that it's a very common phenomenon: People just watches during an assault, even brave/decent people don't react for a seconds as they try to make sense of the situation. Civil people tend to evaluate rather than act on impulse. Also human brain rather frequently fails to response during unexpected situations. So majority would react much more slower than those NPCs.

Also there is no better AI in open world games. If some AAA game studio was able to make an a.i which is capable of acting socially realistic during a random act of violence; Sky-net would be already ruling the Earth.

Gratification upon gratification :D

At first we had the "points" "omgz i got 1000 points!" then points lose value, cus, compared to what? Remember the points in Super Mario? I had thousands of points :o or was in milions? :o
Then levels and loot, more substansial, now the reward is something compared to something else

Achievements are litterally pats on the back "Way to go, Skipper! You did good!"
"YAY =D"

This *has* to develop further, if only to satisfy my curiousity of what will come next.

You do know this is how it's been since the Xbox started off the achievement arms race right? I think Microsoft even requires them of games, and most games do the "Completed X chapter" thing. It's blasé by now.

I know, I didn't try to imply that it started happening yesterday. I am still curious of the development of it, since that quick gratification is getting more common.
And as you say - it's blasé by now, like points and levels have become allready - so - time to up the gratification!

But how?
Generic compliments come to mind, "You have nice hair!" "You are popular among your peers!"

I like achievements because sometimes they give you fun and mildly challenging tasks to accomplish, like the GRA challenge achievements in FONV.

Well i haven't seen such a.i in game yet. So i doubt it.

The best show of A.I in nowadays is capability of flanking the player in small refined maps(same since Half Life). GTA V maybe has the best a.i "i"ve seen so far but even there NPCs are imbecile a lot of times.

Sure, I like them too. They're little trophies popping up on screen, it's gratification. It's like candy, and I admit - I like candy! :D

In my opinion the best enemy AI has F.E.A.R. from 2005.. Sometimes I wanted to play SP more than MP, due to ''stupid kids'' style of playing and cheaters ;-)
I really think that especially big companies should consider improving AI and physics more instead of only graphics and action all the time..

That "Blind Betrayal" probably the name of an quest and may not about betraying a faction at all, though it's possible.

This is what I thought; the title of the achievement is pretty ambiguous. Since there aren't any other achievements for betraying factions, I think it may simply be quest related.

I thought that his brat along with his bitch died from a nuclear blast. Hm, I was living a lie.
I can't believe this will be another find dad/find son thing again... (facepalm) HOLY SHIT it's the same quest F3 had!
But wait! This time the father will be looking for his son and probably wife! Lol

That doesn't mean that it isn't possible. Hell already in Half Life 1 the AI would use flanking, cover and grenades to fuck you up. it's really all about clever and good use of scripts AI in gaming is not more than just that, scripts. And that was 15 years ago.

It's just simply not much of a priority for most developers today. There is not much marketing value in that. It's easier to sell people that your game has now 50 weapons with 500 more or less usefull modifications.

Fallout 3 has all of those things too, that is pretty standard nowadays.

Fallout 3s AI is pretty shitty. The enemies rarely if ever use cover, I almost never see them using grenades - can't even remember it. They storm usually at you like lemings as their live isn't worth anything. Sorry, but Fallout 3s AI is not impressive.

I would never compare it with Half Life 1, for it's time HL1 had excelent human and alien AI, hell even compard to many games today.

Yeah I don't fully agree, I've played those games quite a bit and Half Life's isn't great and they use cover plenty in FO3. Is it great? No, but this game came out many years ago.
