Fallout 4 DLC "Rumors/Speculation/Thoughts"

I guess it's somewhat save to guess that F4 will see a couple of biger and smaller DLCs, just as any previous Beth game did. The question is. What kind of DLC will it be? And what can you expect? Of course all speculation at this point! However, there might be some hints here and there.

Some unlocked a harpoon-gun that never made it in to the game. It can be replaced with the rail-way rifle with some mumbo-jumbo-console-magic. There are also seem to be structures under water in F4. Just pipes for the most part. But who knows? Could this be a hint to some under-water DLC?!

We have to wait and see! The idea for it self, could be alright. Depends really what you do with it.

There is also the Fallout 4 Mural of the Museum of Freedom, a painting showing some of the key battles in US history. Like the revolutionary war, WW2, Anchorage, and, space. Yes, you heard right! For the case you missed it. Well to be more accurate, actually the moon.

Since Fallout 3 had already a short adventure in space (who could ever forget the high quality Mothership Zeta DLC ... ), it might not be to far away to think about moon exploration! To be fair, if I remember correctly, already Van Buren had this idea of a short trip in to space, with B.O.M.B.001, basically an orbital strike platform with nuclear weapons. Maybe it will be some adventure on the moon? Exploring a long forgotten base and battlefield? Who knows! Imagine the possibilities! Settlements on the moon! Chinese ghouls in space! Skeletons in a space capsules instead of bathtubes! The possible use of Skeletons are literaly endless here!

Or, with the memory den, something that is close to operation Anchorage. Living trough war memories either of the player or someone else. Considering that Fallout 4 has actually decent shooter mechanics that one might be even fun ...

So, com on guys! What are your thoughts?

The Memory Den is a thing, your character is a war vet so they will probably pull a Operation Anchorage all over again.

Your character has to travel back in time to stop aliens from interfering with Paul Revere's midnight ride. Also the Enclave for some reason.
The Enclave are actually Templars, and they worked with the aliens to stop the American colonies from declaring independence. Luckily the Sole Survivor was able to build a time machine out of a pot and an alarm clock to go back in time to stop their plan.

Not gonna lie, that sounds like the greatest DLC in the entire history of video games.

I actually think a Moon-base DLC thing could be done right (hypothetically, I highly doubt Bethesda's ability to do so), as a failed pharaonic pre-war project to create a new american frontier and/or desperately look for resources. That being said, I absolutely HATE the whole Aliens thing, which I always imagined at the older games to be some sort of easter egg, and in New Vegas we had Wild Wasteland, which kept things separate (I prefer the more serious, normal mode).

But Bethesda seems intent on turning Fallout into a wacky-free-for-all this time. I wouldn't be surprised by an Alien invasion thing (although it would still make me cry blood).

Makes it more closer to Borderlands which is probably what Beth is going for judging from all the ideas they stole from Borderlands and put into MineCraft EffectLands aka Fallout 4.

Mothership Zeta Part 2: The Zetan Empire!

The scary part is that they could really do it. Just imagining it makes me shudder.

Our only hope now is that they have some shred of respect for the franchise and pull a New Vegas with Obsidian again.
This thread was just asking for it :smug:, I honestly think they'll have an alien DLC that's more than likely featured in the Mojave.

We need a new fallout, "Fallout: A New Hope".

I wish they could make a DLC in the style of Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. They could turn all power armors into much bigger and bulkier Warhammer 40k-like suits, all assault rifles into bolters, all laser rifles into lasguns, all plasma guns into.. plasma guns and so on. Ripper would change into a chainsword, Electrified Chinese officer sword into a power sword, a power fist into a... power fist. And so on.
There are so many parallels that it would be very wasteful to not take advantages of them. You already have orks, turn Deathclaws into tyrranids and you've got an absolutely awesome DLC.

But this is too good an idea, so there is no way they would do that. Also, copyrights. :(

...Or they could make a DLC where you enter an alternate dimension to the proper Fallout world.

Yeah, the regular game was just a cryosleep-induced dream! Anyone can see that, right? I mean, 200 years in the fridge, really?

Fallout 4: Real Fallout. The joke is over!

wouldn't that be awesome if they were like haha fuck you fallout 4 was all just a dream the real fallout 4 is 200 gigs with millions of dialog lines and thousands of different options and the voiced character was just your subconscience and the ww1 weapons plus planks that freeze people were also fake and the city looks almost untouched because that's how you remember it... if only :(
