Fallout 4 gameplay videos leaked, Bethesda starts taking them down

One thing that is seriously annoying me is that blocking, gunbashing and Grenade throwing are all mapped to the same button. That's just fucking stupid.... Project nevada handled it in a more elegant manner and it was running on the New Vegas version of the engine...

Wow that's impressive that's like Bioware's sprint/cover kind of awful...are there any other keys mapped to multiple functions?

Navigating the Pipboy is much clunkier now.
It'sstill divided into Tabs with the subsections lsited horizontally like before with the marked difference that the subsections are notall listed simultaneously, you have to Scroll Sideways toget to the different ones, which really has no reason be like that at all, getting from Weaponsto Miscellaneous items now takes multiple clicks for example, Holotapes and Notes are no longer on the "DATA" tab but in the INV tab, which makes the whole Inv section just a cluttered mess to navigate.

You can't move around the Perk chart with WASD for some reason, it requires you to Swipe while rick clicking it which any seasoned PC user would know is a pretty shitty way of controlling anythign ever. The Settlement building interface is another clunky nightmare, the mouse wheel doesn't let you scroll through the different structures, you have to move your mouse hand to the arrow keys to navigate the structures, pulling out of the menu requires multiple key strokes and you can even get into it by accident if you just happen to want to change to Third Person while in a settlemen. Commands also seem very inconsistent with menus and actions sometimes requiring to keep the button pressed sometimes while other times triggering with a light tap.
Why is Settlemen building mode even in First person? Wouldn't an Eagle view make much more sense and make it easier to use?

The Junk Jet is also pretty buggy, I was unable to pull my pipboy multiple times after loading it with junk, I had to Hotkey into another weapon to be able to access the Pipboy again. Lot's of Invisible Weapon bugs too.

(X) Sarcastic: It just works.

I'm a cheap bastard anyway--I even waited for the price to drop on New Vegas before I picked it up and I love that game.

No way I'm paying the full sixty bucks for a fleeting, shallow experience that's gonna last me several months at the most.

You wouldn't pay 60 bucks for a game you play for months? That's some seriously insane gamer entitlement shit right there.

60 USD is a lot of money to the majority of the people on this planet.

That would pay someone's utilities for a month in China.

Don't be disingenuous now. We're talking about buying video games and if you think months of play isn't worth 60 bucks when many games don't get nearly that much, you're insane.

Logic and reason is dead with some of you.

I don't have a single game in my steam library that cost 60 dollars, and I am a very serious gamer with thousands of hours of enjoyment in some games. I've been playing PC games since 1991 and I don't think I've ever paid that for any game.

Fallout 4 is tied for the most expensive RPG game on steam at the moment, only being beaten by anthologies and packs of other games with all of their DLC.

"Months of play" means exactly dick to me, and it isn't magically equal to me shelling out 60 dollars (which is a lot of money even if you pretend otherwise).

I look for "hours of enjoyment" rather than "hours of playtime".
There is a difference, and that difference is what seems to be escaping you.

I can get the same hours of Gameplay from Terraria and that one is less than 15 dollars. The Value a person palces on their money is their own bussiness, calling someone entitled for not wanting to pay 60 dollars of their own money on a game they have reservations on is completely ridiculous and preposterous.

You are the master of making shit up I swear. He said a game that he'll play for MONTHS isn't worth 60 bucks. That's entitled as fuck. No one is forcing him to buy it, and trying to compare a brand new triple A game to Terarria is hilarious.

Don't buy it if you don't want it but don't tell me months of play isn't worth 60 bucks. What the fuck is wrong with you?

You arethe one sayign that not wanting to down 60 dollars on a game you have reservations on is Entitlement, how else is that even to be taken? You are trying to tell people how they should personally value their money just because you are ok paying 60 dolalrs for it.

Something that takes a long time to complete does not something worth 60 dollars make.

I've put 200+ hours into FTL and it cost me 14 dollars and had a free expansion DLC.
I've put 700+ hours into the DayZ standalone game for 25 USD.
2000+ hours into the Dayz Mod (30 dollars for Arma 2 Operation arrowhead)
400+ hours in Starbound - 15 dollars.
500+ in CS:GO - 15 dollars.

shit, I even have 100 hours in Fishing Planet and it cost me 0 USD.

There's nothing "entitled" about expecting bang for your buck, and every single one of those titles has more replayability or even endless playability when compared to a single player halfassed action rpg with a bunch of kill and fetch quests.

HE SAID PAYING 60 DOLLARS FOR A GAME HE WILL PLAY FOR MONTHS ISN'T WORTH IT. That's what I'm calling absurd. Learn to read.

You should have payed 60 for those games.

He said payign 60 dollars for a game he has many reservations with isn't worth it. Jus because YOU would play it for months and enjoy doesn't mean others will do the same, People value their money differently. Trying to dictate how someone else values THEIR OWN MONEY and callign them entitled for not spending full price on a game is beyond absurd. Like the game all you want, but people's own money is their own business.

HE SAID HE WOULD PLAY IT FOR MONTHS DO YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH?

No shit it's their own business I already said that. You're literally misreading everything I've said just like always. Knock it off.

I love the terrible comparisons to unrelated games too. I can pay 10 dollars for a board game and get more out of it than a 20 dollar video game. That means nothing. If you choose to buy a brand new Triple A game it will cost 60 bucks. If you want it cheaper, you wait. Simple. Logic. Wow.

And yet nobody said they would enjoy it for months.
Would you pay 60 dollars for months of being beaten with a stick?

If not, why not? You're getting months of experience with that "product".
