Fallout 4 gameplay videos leaked, Bethesda starts taking them down

Watching these videos I think I've figured something out about people who enjoy these games. They are all impatient and running around and using fast travel to get from objective to objective instead of casually roaming the wasteland getting into adventures. It's like "I need to finish this game as soon as possible!" and don't really try to enjoy it their first time around. Speed runs should be reserved for 2nd or 3rd playthroughs, not your first experience. It's all the Mountain Dew and Doritos fueling them I guess. :P

That's like saying people who like Super Mario Brothers are stupid because the game isn't complex. This weird NMA-specific mindset confuses me, like you're a bunch of MENSA members looking down upon the plebs when the opposite seems to be the case.

"NMA-specific"... Do you not go anywhere else on the internet? There's plenty of high horse riding people on the internet. It's as if you were born yesterday.

About this specific topic genius. It's as if you're not that bright.

Hell if I wanted to play games like those I would play those game and not a game that is trying so hard to RIP OFF!... I mean, trying to emulate them. :look:
(puts on beret and scoffs) <scoffs and="" puts="" on="" beret="">It's called an homage, a non-bethesda fan like you wouldn't understand.</scoffs>

Woah easy on those insults. Also, no, this kind of mindset isn't just exclusive to NMA. It's actually called being rational if you didn't know.

Don't insult if you don't want to be insulted, simple! Also it's FAR more present here than anywhere especially in regards to Fallout and it's a very unintelligent mindset no matter where it is or what it's about.

Good on the player for icing the initiate there, seriously. Yes, ghouls are people too, but the racism analogy falls flat when you're defending ferals whose brains have rotted out. Also, another "little thing" bethesda screwed up is the direction of the bos symbol, unless it is the midwestern brotherhood of steel, in which case they screwed up two things with the "ghoulism".

It would need to be a HUGE patch, because it also seems to be a problem with the Pathfindign and Navmeshing. So they would need to go back and edit terrain too... "Gone gold" sure Bethesda... 7 Years of development, Of course....

Even if it was the Midwest Brotherhood it doesn't mean they can't be prejudiced against ghouls, especially as a faction far from the Midwest.

Technically 4 years since Skyrim.

They said they started development right after Fallout 3, so i am just holding them accountable for their own claims, even when I know they are just the usual shameless self agrandizing lies from Todd Howard.

They also said they started FO3 before Oblivion but barely, then continued it further down the line. Could be the same here, I highly doubt they worked on this for 7 years straight especially with Skyrim AND Elder Scrolls Online.

You mean, the Toddler and Pete Hines would lie to their fanbase? Perish the thought!

How could anyone even suggest such an accusation?! Godd Howard would never lie to us, his beloved sheep... I mean fans!

Did he insult you honestly? Like maybe what you said can be considered an insult but what he said though? I dunno..

It's not an unintelligent mindset. How can a mindset be unintelligent? That doesn't make much sense. It actually really depends on what it's about because you can't possibly deny that BGS Fallout fans are not impatient?

I thought TESO was made by someone else and Bethesda had nothing to do with it development-wise.

Yeah you're right.

If you make a generalization that anyone who likes certain games must be dumb, that is a pretty unintelligent mindset.

Fair enough, but I still would shoot the guy for being a dummy though.

And the "Ghoul Racism" returns from Fallout 3 with all the subtlety of a Super Sledge with a Crank mod hitting a critical on a Molerat. I mean Bethesda wen through the trouble of making Feral Ghouls completely different creatures than NPC ghouls, down togiving them zombie animations, completely different facial features and Ai packages that consist of just attacking everything, yet they are trying to push this "ferals are people too" shit in the writting? Ferals should just be Emaciated and Crazed ghoulified people ,not this mindless zombies, hell if they want their "Zombie enemies" they could just make a Faction of Ghoulified Raiders or occasional Ghoul Crazies... Then it would be more interesting for such dynamics to be present in the game...

There's really nothing wrong with that writing, it's ever present in all zombie fiction. It's a big theme in at least a couple Romero movies, The Walking Dead, etc. It's actually more interesting than some of those because there are sentient, intelligent ghouls as well as the feral ones. This seems inspired by Day of the Dead specifically and the feeding of Bub, at least in my opinion.
