Fallout 4 music preview

I love fallout 1 and 2's soundtrack but one thing those games were missing was combat music. Fallout 3's combat music was ok but New Vegas had great combat music, really made encounters feel like a fight for your life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Yy7YLOTYEs At 1:30:20, in the backround of this combat music you can hear the vague sound of the intro to the redding song from fallout 2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsdRP7nyWMY but sped up to make it sound more action based. I hope they keep that tone for fallout 4, they did it in bits and pieces in fallout 3 but not enough.

I rather listen to Johnny Guitar on loop than listen to Three Dog's awful dialogue and shrill voice telling everybody how much of an Asshole Defiler I am right before stating how I just helped the orphan get a new home on Rivet City.

I'm not a big fan of Fallout 3's unbalanced karma system either, but Johnny Guitar is something else.

But compared to Three Dog chiding you for killing racist ghouls its like listening to angels sing.

In the morally grey world of Fallout, a character expressing a subjective opinion on something is not something I personally find annoying, no matter how flawed said character's views are.

Is not "subjectivity", it's absolutely mechanic and rigid based upon bad Black and white Karma Mechanics. Three Dog doesn't even have a personality when you meet him, nor does he do anything of any actual impact on the story.

Can't wait to "immerse" myself in Fallout 4 by killing the DJ's while listening to this:

This website is about constructive criticism of Bethesda's work on the Fallout franchise, bragging about how your going to kill an actor in game because you don't like their music that I'm sure she put a lot of hard work into making isn't constructive, that's just really petty and I don't think that's what this website is about. I'm not usually confrontational on NMA but I think someone had to say it.

You do realize he was talking about the in-game DJ's right?

Aw, shit. My mistake, I thought Lynda Carter was a DJ in the game, I apologize.

From the article

I’m working with a Grammy-winning songwriter, John Jarvis, and Kerry Marx, one of the great guitarists out of Nashville. Then we got the top session players in Nashville together, including my musical director/drummer Paul Leim, and legendary horn player, Blue Lou Marini, and went into a studio to record the songs

Also she released only 3 albums through out her singing carrier, 2 of which are nothing but cover songs. So yeah, of all the people they could invite to write songs for a post apocalyptic game which millions of people will play, Zenimax CEO's wife was a great pick. Yup it definitely doesn't reek of someone looking to get exposure. That constructive enough for you?

God, this is more sleazy then the makings of an Adam Sandler movie.

Oh wow, must be why the animations still suck too, they are just giving the job to someone's cousin.

It's not just because she's married to the CEO of Zenimax, from what I understand she has a history in general with Bethesda, she's been working with them since Morrowind, she's a familiar voice for Bethesda fans so I'm sure fans of their games will like seeing her again. Pretty normal for a Bethesda game to see familiar actors, I'm sure we'll see Wes Johnson and Jeff Baker in the game too. So what if she's trying to get exposure, would that somehow validate being a jerk and killing her in game because you don't like her music? I mean it doesn't matter anyways, I misunderstood what you said because I thought she was a DJ and apologized but you're still defending yourself for some reason so...

I am sure Matthew Perry and John Doman put a lot of effort intheir performances in New Vegas. Hasn't stopped me from killing them in a lot of runs. Why get so upset over someone killing an NPC that is also working double dutty as sue insert?

I mean it's probably immortal anyway....

It just seemed like a weird thing to say, to kill an actor's in game model because you didn't like their music then brag about it in a public forum. But hey I killed Moira Brown because her voice actor sounded like Sarah Palin and annoyed the shit out of me, and now I'm bragging about it on a forum... So I guess I'm a hypocrite. haha
