Fallout 76

This is the worst thing to happen to Fallout and I was willing to defend Bethesda even to Fallout 4.
 
Worst thing? Seriously? We have crossed that line years ago. Bugthesda buying Fallout was the end of the franchise. What we see here is nothing more but using Fallout name as brand recognition. @CT Phipps

I am a firm believer that Fallout could have easily worked as Action RPG like New Vegas. However that would require competent writers, not garbage tier Engine, actual effort.

To me watching our Franchise burn like this makes me feel... Nothing. I have stopped caring after shitout 4. The only thing that interests me are mods and things like Outer Worlds, a spiritual succesor to New Vegas.

If anything, seeing bugthesda screw themselves over is a cathartic experience.
 
I have absolutely zero idea about this game, and still have no desire to play it. I will trust the thousands of reviews that say this game is shit. It has a 2.7 user rating on Metacritic, ha ha! I'm also not a fan of MP in general, so there's that too.
 
Holy smokes! I just watched the reveal trailer of The Outer Worlds. Could this be the new Fallout1 we've all been hoping for?
 
I loved Fallout 3.

It was my Fallout. It introduced me to the franchise.

I loved the dark and creepy burnt out wasteland atmosphere, FPS, the Enclave, and Washington's ruins.

And....it just got worse and worse.

How bad is it?

I LIVE IN WEST VIRGINIA. This should be my game!

Well, it's not only bad but things that aren't even in the game are bad dude. What major company doxxes its customers? At least when others have to deal with their customer's information being handed out it's due to a security breach not their own customer support system...

You know, we mostly are assholes here on NMA, but we are also a very understanding and sensible bunch.

We never hold grudges. We understand brother. And we welcome everyone who sees the light, changing his ways accepting the blessing of the glittering gem of hatret! Now, why don't you go over there and talk to Morpheus so you can get your own robes.

I'd say the best way to put it is that it has been rather schadenfreude to watch Bethesda fumble about with such a poor release and a series of terrible blunders.

Still sucks for those who are suffering thanks to it (like whoever got doxxed or got their credit card details revealed).
 
I was holding onto hope for Bethesda that they might improve, and maybe if they get their heads out of their asses and realize what a mess 76 is, their games still can. But what they did is unforgivable and unjustifiable.

By choosing not to play this trash, I might have spared myself from another attempted home invasion. I'd like to keep the record at just the one.
 
Wait, logging in as other player characters? How is that even possible? You think Bethesda would stop fucking up, but it's just one fuck up after the other.

I'll have a lengthier post about my confusion as to how they can screw up a game which is already a rip off.
