Fallout Comic

Yeah making this thing is alot of fun. It's really fun to actually give Ian some personality more that just that blue jeans douche who bursts dogmeat all the time.

Seriously though guys give me some aid here.

When do you get difinitive proof that there is a water chip in necropolis?

Is it possible for me to stealth kill 1 Raider and then still talk to garl to pay for tandi's release?

Your comic is top fun! That's what I call a fresh view!

Definite proof is given to you in the Hub. In the library, to be more precise. There you could buy a holodisk telling a pre-war story about vaults in the region. So you're looking for vault 12.

No idea about stealth-killing, though.

I feel that it wouldn't really make sense in a comic sense to have Jinx take bullets and not die. So I want to get some metal armor first so I can say it stop bullets. I am going to have to avoid gunfights until I get some combat or metal armor.

Try this one:

Jinx and his enemy shoot at each other. The enemy misses. Jinx critically misses, the butt of the rifle striking his cheek knocking him unconscious. The enemy decides that he hit Jinx and retires.

Well, maybe Jinx's bad aura also rubs off on Ian and he bursts away with his SMG, but all the bullets miss the target and bounce off of metal plates of some sort and end up shooting Ian in the back...

Now that would teach the bastard.

The jinx perk also affects poeple around you. It says something about it in the desecription of it.

It affects everyone in combat, yeh.

Jinx with Luck 10, if I remember correctly, only affects those about you negatively.

Luck 1 Jinxed made for some funny-ass charachters. I loved my big guns/thrown weapons-toting bastard running around in odd fights of exploding guns and people dropping their bazookas.

Woops, I ment, What kind of tablet you use. I'm planing on getting a penis, but is ther better ones out there?

That's strange because I actually don't even know what I was talking about. Hmm, I think there was a tablet called a 'Penis'?

By the way, I like it.

I added a few new panels and a cover. Strange thing, I thought if I did V-15 before the rad scorpion cave Tandi would be kidnapped... When I came back to town she wasn't. Kinda puts a hamper on my story.

Anyway, more importiantly the URL changed.

The Water Chip

Me likes. Me likes a lot.

As for armour -- I think the progression is V15: leather jaket => Raiders: leather armour => Junktown: metal armour => Hub: combat armour => Brotherhood: power armour.

At least that's how I remember it -- as I usually skipped the Raiders until I had decent armour, I usually got the leather armour in Junktown or a random encounter.

FO2 on the other hand was totally retarded. I usually ended up with metal armour way before I encountered any of the leather Mk IIs, thus rendering them useless.

I have bizarre memorys of leaving the BoS without power armor and having to save and load a lot in the military base...good times.

Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

Not always. Metal could be got at the raiders, but not at Junktown if I recall correctly.

I usually had the jacket right up until Junktown, then leather armour from the guy that gets shot, then I bought combat armour in the Hub, then power armour.

Poor Tesla armour, always so useless.

ManthatcomicROCKS! No, really. I always knew that the greatest fan art/fan fiction would be a mix of both.

Thanks alot for the positive feedback. I know you get metal armor for killing Garl from the raider camp. But I wont be able to kill Garl thats for sure.

Speaking of armor, it's going to be tough to explain why it is that Ian or Tycho never wear anything but thier standard armor.

Oh you guys are going to love this. You know how the jump suit has no pockets, and the leather armor does? Guess what perk I got!? QUICK POCKETS.

Uhm, they've been wearing their armor so long it's attached to them? They are emotionally attached to them? Most of the people that read this webcomic know why they can't change armor and therefore it needs no explanation?

And might I just say again that it's awesome. When I went through it again just now, I noticed the knife in the part where you take the Radscorp's tail... it's the little things like that that make it awesome.

Ha thanks again. It really is alot of fun to do. Giving all the characters some personality, it's super fun. I think Ian's jacket will just be sentimental, his fathers or something. I can say Tycho has a bulletproof vest on under his leather so he is set.

I am afraid the comic is going to get stale if I avoid gunfights for such a long time. It also doesn't really make sense for Jinx to be lucky enough to dodge all his bullets. I don't know, please tell me if it starts to get stale though. So I can make modifications. it's all electronix so changing stuff is a synch.
