Fallout 2 mod Fallout: Yesterday

Hi,

i just tested v0.6.5 but ran into many bugs which may have blocked me from leaving Tibbits I don't know or i must restart with more science skill to be able to hack elevator number 2 maybe this one leads outside no clue. But as for bugs I noticed many NPCs start to disappear sometimes and never come back Mrs. Wiry is gone after one load the Guard which wants the Magnum is gone, Fergie, Seb and several other which I didn't have the name remembered too. Robb tells me is daughter is dead but she still stands alive at the bar after some loads not and I don't know if some NPCs are already missing to solve the case. This may be no actual quest but i tell a woman in the asylum there is a radscorpion nest and i killed them all but she gives nothing in return despite she said she would in the first place. After starting a misson at the Dr. Yvreth in the asylum nothing happens. I attempt to try the raid against the criminals and say lets start but nothing happens. When I talk to the man that sleeps in a cell on the church map and choose to sleep in his cell the whole game crashes. In the waste cleaning area there is a mapping error where at the southern site the robots/player can walk across an area that is a bit below (where the 2 tunnels meet). I don't see waste to carry or robots to repair. The talking head of the P31-Cerebro robot looks somehow strange I don't know if that is intended. One dead robot in the lower waste cleaning area lies in the goo and can't be accessed I don't know if this is intended. The offset of the animation of Slugs when facing south and evade an attack seems to be a bit off. In the asylum two of those wall storage can be accesses from the other side of the wall i don't know if the wall is just too thin. A possible typo "Much less clumbersome than the Pip-Boy 2000, the Lil-Pip 3000 offers all the functionality of its smaller brother." i guess it must be bigger or older brother? since its called clumbersome smaller makes no sense. I guess I forgot something but its quite a bunch.
 
The Sfall Script Editor checks for errors in Header Files connected to the script I'm working on. I *did* remake the script as I added to it, and I added more entries to lists in the Header File in question for future scripts. I disabled most of those new entries except for the Right now, the error is in party.H: "expecting top level statement" for a line with "end". If I fix it by adding a / across the line, then another error pops up. And if not this, then other errors will pop up in command.H or whatever when I press Compile Button. Please help

Also, the CRTIPID.H file is mostly inaccurate, should've mentioned it earlier. sorry.
 
Hello! I am very close to completing all of the do-able side quests in the current version. I just need help initiating/completing the last few.

SPOILERS (Couldn't get the Spoiler format to work)

For the Brotherhood, I completed everything except for: Undertake Operation Peacemaker: Bring an end to the Brotherhood-NCR war. I tried talking to Governor Dodge and Major Jack Fleming, exhausting all of their possible dialogue options, but there isn't anything related to peace with the Brotherhood.

For background, I completed almost all of Hoover Dam's quests, primarily working for the Three-Some Caravan Company, Infiltrating Crimson Carvan, turning in both ledgers to Fleming/Dodge and getting Alice McLafferty arrested. The ledgers is what I used to get the meeting with Dodge in the first place. I later found and upgraded the water filtration schematics. I also cleared the Skum Pitts and S1C. I figured some of these might be why I can't ask Dodge or Fleming about peace with the Brotherhood, but no luck so far.

From what I see in the code, in order to end the war, this has to happen.

1. BOS quest "Identify the poisoner" must be finished.
2. Hoover Dam quest "Successfully negotiate peace between the NCR and the Brotherhood" must be finished
3. BOS quest "Undertake Operation Peacemaker: Bring an end to the Brotherhood-NCR war" must be finished

If Hoover Dam quest no. 2 didn't finish after you arrested or killed Ailis, that means it wasn't even started then.
That sounds like a potential bug that needs to be investigated. So the solution is to accept Hoover Dam quest to negotiate peace before confronting Ailis. Once the status on Ailis is reported to Dodge, the quest should be marked off as finished.

Alternatively, this is also a valid way to end the war.

1. BOS needs to be destroyed by overloading their bunker power grid on Level 3.
2. Hoover Dam quest "Successfully negotiate peace between the NCR and the Brotherhood" must be finished.

Yep, I know it's incorrect. But it's rarely used so it's not the priority right now to fix.

Thanks for reporting these. Tibbets bugs will be addressed in the next big release. The other issues will be investigated too.
