First Impression of Fallout 4

It has less Deus Ex machinas than the first Avatar show. THe second season was pretty inconsistent in quality and had a bad villain, but the third and fourth ones were great. On The characters, there are fewer interesting ones, but people like Kuvira and Varrik are better than most of the cast from the first series.

It had its ups and downs, but book 3 and 4 were great. No white and black morality like the whole TLAB. And I like that the protagonists were not small children for a change, teenagers are more interesting, and the ham-fisted attempts at romance were not as cringe-worthy. Though still bad and annoying, I will admit that.

Legend of Korra was just on par with the Star Wars prequels for me. They ruined the mysticism and kinda rubbed some of the returning characters the wrong way. It also had the problem of just using whatever seemed "cool", instead of what made the most sense. While ATLA had a few Deus Ex Machina's, Legend of Korra's plot just seemed to be entirely composed of them. It just wasn't a very good successor, and couldn't really stand well on its own, either.

What Deus Ex machinas do you have in mind?
I think ruining the mysticism was on purpose, they moved the plot quite a bit in time, the setting is completely different. The new style of bending compliments this very well, ancient martial arts are overtaken by more practical ones more similar to boxing. Personally I like this shift. It's not perfect, obviously, but it's more interesting to me.

Edit: Sorry for straying the discussion completely off-topic. ^^

First season of ATLAB: Aang fuses with a god of the moon despite no foreshadowing about it to destroy the entire fleet of the Fire Nation.
Second Season: He unlocks the Avatar state by suddenly unlocking the last chakra in a secon,d but for some reason is unable to defend himself from Azula despite him previously curb stomping armies in said mode.
Third Season, a magic giant turtle appears on the second to last episode and gives Aang the power to take away bending, which was never foreshadowe to exist.

Korra:
First Season, villain blocks 3 of her elements, she unlocks Air Bending. The Deus Ex machina comes from Aang using the Deus Ex Machina from last season to give her powers back.
Second Season: it was bad.
THird Season: She fights the villain while slowly dying of poison which weaknes fer for the start of the third season and allows the fourth season villain to raise to power.
Fourth Season: Again one on one fight where they use all previously stablished techniques and story elements without pulling giant turtles out of nowhere.

>It looks like shit
>It will probably run like shit
>It will have shitload of bugs and glitches
>It will be dumbed down as shit

Typical Bethesda game, 0 hype for me, going back to real RPG's like Divinity Original Sin and Witcher 3.

Even though there is a lot of water.

I just hope there is something there in the water.

I mean, it'd be a rip if there weren't.

Even New Vegas had stuff to find if you went diving.

Shit, I played the game for over 600 hours and I didn't even know there was a floating platform on that one lake.
