Anything is better than Russian! I wonder how you Ruskies came to understand each other with a language so weird! I'm sure that a lot of blood had to be shredd until eveveryone reached a consensus when it came to language! (NO!! WE'LL USE VIKING RUNES, FOOL!!! NO, IDIOT!! WE'LL USE ARABIC CHARACTERS, NOW FEEL THE WRATH OF MY SWORD OF DEATH!!)

When is the translation coming? Even googleenglish is better than russian!

about 1-2 days...

i don't know what language is more weird - English or Russian, i like'em both)))

-One brilliant idea, I have to hand it to the devs, was synching the world map. What I mean? I had a few random encounters with actual players in them. I tried to help one player fight off a mantis, however he died before I was through. I had to do it with my bare hands... but still I found that way cool.

-I've got a question for the devs regarding some skills. I made my character a typical RP character, he's got high charisma, intelligence, speech and science. My question is whether these skills will prove any useful in the game?

I don't know, but I had a similiar case where I was being attacked by mantises and another player was there with me. I was the one that was killed. Maybe we met in the game once?

With intelligence, lets face it, dumb people can't say much and the more dumb they are the more jibberish they seem to speak. I Say that the dumber a player is, the less space they have to convay what they want to say, and maybe the less letters they have to use. For example: A dumb person may not be able to pronounce the letter "t". Me salk like fis (Me talk like this). The players then have to get creative on wording now that they have a limited alphabet and text space.

Hey guys, I found a horrible bug for the second time:

LOOK AT THIS!! It's the second time I found something like that. I had to remake my char due to that kind of stuff!

Slaughter when that happens and ~toglobal doesn't work, try exiting the game completely and restarting it. And yeah I'm translating it to somewhat understandable english so bear with me =D.

for God's sake read the readme!

to exit these locations just type ~toglobal - it's written in the readme!

or at least press F1!

-Yep, that was me. Good to see you. :)

-Well that's not a bad idea don't know how to implement that though. I'd suggest that a person should have at least
(put the number you had to have in the original) to be able to speak normally. The developers could make a script which
would scramble the words at random depending on how low intelligence and the player's speech skill is. If a low
intelligence player wants to communicate normally he will have to buy speech skillpoints in order to make the distortions lesser.

ah thx...

btw, if you play right now, i'm about to make my way from the respawn area (i hate mantiz) to VC

if you got any gear to spare... i'd be glad.
i'm a science lvl 1... suck in combat

MaNiaC is the name

I am stuck in the trapper caves, even if I leave the game and reload I get this:

Is there a way to get to the world map or a short cut key to get out of here?

Man... two crazies just tried to rob me. They came up against me using melee weapons, one even had Leather Armor. But, contrary to their expectations, I fought back. I pounded their heads until they retreated like cowards! Mhwhwahahahhaha, I rock! I think a friend of mine is going to try it, too! I love the chaotic feeling!

If anyone wants to band together, just find me and we'll team up!

A problem: Shops don't restock. Shops in Klamath and The Den are all full of radios. And nothing to buy.

OH MY FUCKING GOD PEOPLE WHY DON'T YOU JUST FUCKING READ THE FUCKING THREAD YOU'RE FUCKING PISSING ME OFF!!!!!

to go to the global map enter ~toglobal in the chat window (repeating for probably a 1000th time)

new google translation is active, praise the Zanzen!

This "map glitches" occur when your character appears outside the map. It's a known bug and it's getting fixed. Please stop posting these pictures, we've already got hundreds of these on our own forums.

An NPC just killed me because I did not understand him; its safer just to run around killing each other: I just lost a wazooki and a powerfist etc :( :( I am going to cry in a corner now :(

I've tried translating Russian using Google before... tbe results are no more understandable than the original cyrillics to an English speaker.

This won't work without a human translator. Especially in videogame, where a lot of short bursts of specialized context are used... no way.
