General Discussion Thread of DOOM

IMDB is closing down it's forums. All of them. Oh man. Lots of theories floating around why, maybe because of threats against Trump and IMDB would be responsible for, maybe because of actors wanting to keep their ages secret and the discussion boards revealing the real ages, maybe because USA is beginning to go the same route as Germany in regards to discussion board, meaning the site holder will be held responsible for all comments made on a for example discussion board, etc. Some claiming that message boards are closing all over the internet. Is this the beginning of...'war, war never changes'?

Weird. What next, we'll be back to using homing pigeons? Smoke signals? I blame the Trump trolls, many of those on IMDB.

I have a 17 year old account there, wonder if it will be wiped. I wrote some movie reviews on it, I guess those will stay.
 
This year's Superb Owl is probably the most I ever cared regarding football. Usually I couldn't care less but this year's different. Hell if I know why.

I remember it existing, they had cool suits but the kid actors pissed me off even as a kid. Can't remember much about it plotwise. I have fresher memories of VR Troopers, mostly because of the song and the fact that the smoke room fights looked silly and cheap, even for my 8 year old sensibilities.
 
Big bad beetle borgs was the show that had a blue Jay Leno looking mofo, reminds me of the Irish Power Rangers... the mystic knights of blah blah blah? Anyone Memba that?

To be fair, in Fallout robots are still based on vacuum tubes, which are in fact much more immune to radiation, to that's actually not all that wrong.
 
Definetly never saw it, did they also shoot up sparks when hitting people with their Melee weapons? Might wanna watch some of it, just for shits and giggles.

Didn't watch. Don't feel like being preached to by people that are making shit worse. By people I mean assholes going about things the wrong way like saying they are going to bomb the white house, burn the town down, or generally making life miserable for all involved.

So what can we expect from this netflix show? A generic show that's centered around skin colour? Is that it?
I think some people just keep on and on 24-7 about race, mentioning it everywhere, but are fast to call other people racist...

From reading the reviews, it seems like it points the satire pretty much in every direction but is ultimately unfocused because of it, so actually the TV show might be better since it has more time to flesh out all the characters and such, which also seemed like a common complaint in reviews.
 
If that's the case then the trailer is doing a shit job at relaying that message, cause in this current climate with BLM and other race baiting bullshit this solely looks like a way to shit on white peeps.
 
Lego's actually making a lot of games these days, they might actually be up for a post-apocalyptic romp. Well, minus the bloody mess - stuff, and sexual innuendo. And killing kids. Etc.

Calling attention to police brutality affecting black people the hardest and wanting to be treatedwith the same respect and for their rights to respected = Race baiting bullshit.

The other day I saw the people who have contributed to Left wing ideology being equated with shithead self righteous behavior the past 5 years who also think they are the chosen judges of Morality pass around an image of some Gallows saying that it should be the only platform nazis should be allowed in response to that neo nazi dickbag getting punched. I hate neo Nazis as much as everybody who is not a douchebag, but that shit is just stepping right into becoming exactly like the alt-right trolls. Not that they ever behaved like rational humans to begin with. Kinda one of the reasons the human pot of cheese got elected.
