Eh, honestly at this point I don't care to much about it. Like as there will be a war between the US or Russia or like as it REALLY matters if Russia has ties into the US government, the worst that could happen is an improvement to their politics ...
But on a more serious note, the only stuff that really worries me are two things.
First, global warming and the stance of the new government on it. I mean seriously, do all the shit you want but this stuff has the potentiall to kill billions of people in the next 70 years or so if humanity continues like that.
Second, the lobbyism and corruption that has severly increased under Trump. Now, not all of that is his fault, he's simply the next top of the ladder. But you have to ask your self, at which point will the people become so fucked up with it, that they will get rid of democracy alltogether?
Some of that, is also a problem with Europe, and it really depends on the next few ellections what might happen. WHo knows if people in 20 years or so won't be so fucked up that they will vote straight for some 'benevolent' dictator, Erdogan/Putin style.

Democracy is long dead. Lobbyism is so prevalent and social tribalism is rampant that there isn't much of actual citizen representation in the government in most western countries. Specially in Latin America.

I am from Portugal and before legalization there were city areas where it was a hell. Junkies laying around, robbing people, needles on the ground, people selling drugs, etc.
After legalization we see much less of those areas. They still exist in the worst part of the big cities, but they are much better now.
I don't do drugs and never did, but I am proud my country legalized it and improved it's situation a lot because of it.
