I'm predicting that he might be the "straw that broke the camel's back" for the Registration Act, i.e he'll be the normal family man who's suffered as a result of an Avengers related accident (e.g losing his family) and takes the role of that mother from the Civil War comic that I don't remember the name of.

I could see him as Norman Osborn, too.

I keep coming here everyday to find a mostly dead site with a couple of dozen regular posters of which a few I care to associate with. I think I should do what the others have done and either lurk or go away.

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

You're right. This site is pretty much dead.

I'd hang on though, because if the rumors are true and Bethesda is showing off Fallout 4 this year....we may not be sealed in our coffin yet.

Well of course a Fallout centric forum would be dead after so many years with no news. We'll have to see if bethesda announces anything, even if it's just to unite the forum into bitching about it again.

Spain saved you asshats from the Aztecs.

Isn't Texas part or the US? Or did Mexico claim their usurped lands back?

Yes. It doesn't have to make sense if some dude can finally use his National Guard and Second Amendment rights properly.

National Guard is really nothing more than the old US Colonial (and then later State) Militia(s), just modernized. In a way, they are real "weekend warriors".

To be honest, I think the Nat. Guard is a huge waste of money and resources we could be directing to something else, or at least another branch of the military. If anything, the National Guard should be a US Army sub branch.

Also, Texas is a part of the US. And it's a huge shithole also. I don't recommend going there. Ever. Then again, where I'm at isn't much better.

Kind of funny that riots born out of civil unrest and abuse of power from the police make black people into animals but threatening an armed uprising over absolutely nothing other than paranoia is the right of every american.

There is crazy fucktarded politicians in every country, but the US has some of the most disturbing ones.

I think it's more the culture and the system than the people per sé. Americans aren't worse than other people, they can just get away with more. A lot of american politicians are financed by big corporations that they help 'on the inside'. Think of pharmaceutical and food companies for example. This is illegal in europe.

The second amendment has nothing to do with the National Guard.

The National Guard in a way is a militia. Some might argue that, and I don't agree it is a good representation of one, but it is the best we have.

This is interesting to read. I have only had a brief look thus far.

I'd rather have no army, and a strong National Guard, than the other way around.
