I played GTA because of the music. Nothing is as satisfying like killing people or driving over some hookers to tunes like Kids in America. So no, it is not just about violence.

How does one spend 3million on half of a linear point and click game yet others manage to release a full RPG with branching paths and character creation with the same money?

No, I mean, compare GTA to GTA5, in the first game there was no nicey cut-scenes - or anything to replace it, just phone rings "go kill - " back, get pay, phone rings, "go kill - - "

Remember what happens when you complete GTA? Nothing. It just says something like "yo momma must be proud" and it ends. The first GTA was pretty cold and insensitive a game :D (which is why I liked GTA4 (while many seemed to hate it) for leaving the san andreas happy-times behind, and getting cold and gritty again (which is what people seemed to dislike))

Watching some American Dad on Adult Swim while partaking of medical grade fireflies.

Now for something completely different.

Ultimate Spider-Man was pretty great, the only good thing to come out of the Ultimate Universe really other than Ult. Iron Man's armor. It's a shame that everything else Bendis has written has been utter trash (Though I hear his Daredevil run was okay.). I've heard that Bendis wrote Moon Knight at one point, I can't bear to look what sort of damage he inevitably performed on poor ol' loony knight.

It was pretty bad. He fucked the character up quite a bit, but then again, the character hasn't had a very consistent track record. Bendis has screwed up the GotG recently and the Xmen, but his New Avengers run was good.

Fuck marvel and dc comics, seriously.

Anyway, Dopamine, you idiot. Clerks 1 is obviously ten times better. What're you smoking?

What're YOU somking?

So you also don't like comics. Your status has changed from suspicious to questionable!

Yeah. . . yeah I guess so.

I was just joking, and I don't actually hate either company. Especially since Watchmen is technically DC. But I haven't read a good story with believable art from either. Though that ís from lack of trying.

I'd recommend reading Ellis's Moon Knight. (Marvel NOW #1-#6) As I said before, it's one of the best comics I've read next to Watchmen, which I found to be on the pretentious side.

It was a cool comic dude, very well written and certainly genre changing, but you can't tell me that it wasn't a dab pretentious and the writer was a bit high on his own fumes.

You haven't looked very hard if you can't find any good comics from DC or Marvel in the past few years. I'll just further add that I don't feel like providing any examples but you are wrong.

I'll throw a bone. The latest Ms. Marvel series, Moon Knight, Dark Tower, Fractions run on Hawkeye, anything with Hickman and Marvel together had been pure gold. I could go on, but I'm lazy. DC has had some good stuff too, but I don't read them. Multiversity is one.If you just don't like superheroes that could be a thing I guess.
