The presenter has seemingly large hands, no boobs (from what i can see), a long, slender body, but very attractive features otherwise. I'm wondering if this is a beautiful woman, or a beautiful trans gender person. Damn confusing!

In Australia they have those really poisonous ones, and the ones that are the most dangerous aren't that big. You don't see them coming. Also, they know how to swim and even dive so they all of a sudden bite you in the butt when you're at the toilet.
I recently found out my father's cousin was killed by a brown recluse(still can't believe it took 13 years for her mother to tell us that).

Seriously though there looks to be some masculine features mixed in the facial features and those shoulders.

Time to vent!
As a dinosaur nerd, this has irked me for as long as Wikipedia has existed:
Shitty illustrations marring *nearly all* dinosaur species articles.

Who are these people, brimming with confidence, so much so that they'll scan up their shitty, 3 minute doodles, and use them as encyclopedia illustrations???
Goddamnit, not only do MOST of them suck - but they suck ASS. One thing is posting shitty shit on DeviantArt, and getting endless praise for the purpose of encouragement (although some constructive criticism every once in a while couldn't hurt), but someone needs to tell these people that their doodles are NOT good enough for encyclopedia illustrations. Jumpin' Jesus...

And no, I don't wanna tell them.

And yes, I could fuckin do better. Much goddamn better, I'm 35 and have been drawing dinosaurs my entire life. I just don't have the EGO to plaster my drawings all over Wikipedia. I am humble.

That's usually my go-to hypothesis, though, that these are mostly 12-year-olds, full of "I'm new to this awesome world! Oh boy! Now I am famous too!" but where are their parents, and why can someone not tell them that they still suck?
When I was 12, BELIEVE ME, I knew that my drawings reflected the skills of a 12 year old.

I even remember THE DAY when I thought "holy shit, I actually draw like an adult now!" and I was over 25 when I reached that moment - and STILL knew I had lots and lots left to learn.
I STILL got more left to learn

God...
stupid confident "famous now =D" spoiled dino-nerd-brats...

Had some survival training, learned about a couple different knots especially to help keep your paracord tied to two trees in order to place down a tarp or a poncho for shelter. Random tree branch hit me in the face when I was paroling through the woods and scared me so I accidentally hit myself in the mouth with the stock of my rifle. That's the second time that happened to me, the first time was when one of the group members backed up into me and I got hit with the rail of their weapon which was made of metal right in my mouth.

Was almost 90 and I had to wear my woodland long sleeve shirt fatigues, fucking hot and my t shirt under it felt drenched like it was thrown in a lake.

Sounds like fun. Where did you do the training?

I want to compare our tastes, so that i could feel more, or less safe about thinking the presenter is kind of attractive. As of now, i'm lingering in this twilight zone and it makes me uneasy.
I have to say, If I had to chose I would go for the slender rather than the super buff dude, albeit a muscular type has really a nice ... look to it! But at some point it is more intimidating/impressive rather than sexy. That's because I am rather massive my self. And I am getting really buff beacuse of my training.
But honestly? At the end of the day, it's really about personality, a big dude with nice character is better than a skinny dude with an shit asshole attitude. Unless we're talking about just sex. Then skinny=win!

Does the presenter in my video give off a dude vibe?

Now we're talkin!

Look at that! That's a futuristic tank if I ever saw one! Polish too, I thought all they did was polish up (LOL!!!) old Soviet tanks!
Color me impressed! :0

Looking up futuristic war-machine designs, airplanes, ships, vehicles.
Since the 80s we've sortof just drudged in the same old tracks in most respects. There are some good prospective designs out there, but nearly all of them get scrapped for "tried and tested", YAWN I say!

Well, stealth ships are an exception, there are many new exciting designs that are actually put into use

This is cool tho, well done Poland, and mustachio sticking his head out there!

Unrelatedly, check this shit out

Painting, spoilered for size
Edmund Leighton, I absolutely adore this kind of hyper-realistic painting, the instinct of light and shadow and form, look how intuitive the chainmail is painted, merely strokes of light contrasting darkness, but perfection, just... I weep! Open it in a separate window for even closer view. At a distance, you only get a "photographic" impression, but close up, you can see the "ruggedness" of the paint brush strokes, and how the simplicity transforms into an illusion of reality. The chainmail folds, look at her dress, look at the backgrounds, this is what an artist should look up to!

The polish tank doesn't really impress me, unless you have a shit ton of nations standing in line to buy it. If you're looking at tanks, there really are only a handfull of very successful nations and designs.

Here are two good tanks

T14 Armata
300px-9may2015Moscow-01.jpg

The T-14 Armata is equipped with an unmanned turret and all the crew is located at the front of the hull. The new unmanned remote turret of would be equipped with new generation of 125mm 2A82-1M smoothbore gun with an automatic loader and 32 rounds ready to use. The main gun can fire also new laser-guided missile with a range from 7 to 12 km. The T-14 Armata carries a total of 45 rounds. According some Russian sources, the T-14 Armata could be armed in the future with a new 152mm cannon. The first scale model of the Armata unveiled in July 2012 showed that the vehicle has a secondary weapon that could be a 57mm grenade launcher mounted on the left of the turret, and a machine gun 12.7 mm mounted on the right side. During the victory day parade 2015, Russia has unveiled the new Armata and the main armament consists only of a new 125mm gun with no additional weapons on the side of the turret. Second armament of the T-14 Armata includes one remote weapon station mounted on the top rear of the turret armed with one 7.62mm mm machine gun.

Challenger 2
Challenger2-Iraq.jpg

The Challenger 2 has a 1200bhp Perkins-Condor cv12 diesel engine and can travel up to 37 MPH. The vehicle is equipped with a L30 120mm rifled tank gun, firing both long rod penetrator and High Explosive Squash Head (HESH) ammunition. Its thermal observation and gunnery displays a magnified image for the commander and gunner. Its primary role is to destroy or neutralise armour. It can also engage hard and soft targets and can operate in high intensity conflict, counter insurgency and peace keeping roles. It can create a smoke screen by the injection of diesel fuel into the engine exhausts.

In my opinion the Germans and Brits are making the best tanks right now, if you're looking for an all around machine that excels in almost all areas, is realiable and giving you the most bang for your buck. The Merkava 4 isn't that bad either. But if I had to make a choice? Probably the Challanger 2. The Armata, I guess would still need some time. If it would see combat right now? You can be sure that quite a few of them would simply malfunction, probably because of some smaller design errors or something that only extensive trials can reveal. Any new design needs a couple of years of service with the troops before all the known and unknown issues are cleared. That's an advantage with the Leopard 2 and Challanger 2. They have proven themself over the years and saw various upgrades and changes.

Yeah, it will certainly take time and combat to see if it was worth the money the Russians spent. The Challenger is what I would class as a good tank. Its seen operational service in Bosnia, Kosovo and Iraq, and it has performed well.

Another thing we know have is the Ajax (or Scout) vehicle.
A six-speed fully automatic transmission, the 15.9-litre turbodiesel engine produces 805hp and a staggering 2,213lb-ft of torque, sufficient to give the Ajax a top speed of 44mph and a cruising range of 310 miles. The first of six variants, the turreted Ajax features a 40mm cannon and specialised reconnaissance equipment. The Apollo variant is equipped to tow and repair damaged vehicles and lift heavy equipment on the battlefield. A battlefield transport vehicle, the Ares variant can carry as many as seven troops in addition to its crew of three. Equipped with earth-moving gear, including a huge plough, the Argus variant will serve as an engineering recon vehicle. The Athena variant will serve as a mobile battlefield HQ. The Atlas variant is a battlefield tow truck, capable of hauling all current British military vehicles. The Ajax can negotiate slopes up to 60%, cross trenches as wide as 8 feet and mount vertical obstacles up to 2.5 feet. Designed with future upgrades in mind, the Ajax platform will accommodate as much as 4 tonnes of additional equipment without requiring modifications to the engine or suspension. The turret's stabilised 40mm Case Telescoped Cannon fires 180-200 rounds per minute and has a range of nearly two miles. The exterior is dotted with cameras, laser detectors and acoustic and thermal sensors, giving the crew the ability to detect and track multiple moving targets day or night, through fog, smoke or haze. Banks of eight electrically operated smoke-grenade launchers are mounted at the Ajax turret's front corners.

Will you stop being unimpressed by stuff!? Sheesh!

Doomsdayprepper, I got the Challenger 2 as a glue-together model kit. I followed instructions to the letter! Two other models I have are the Japanese "Type 90" which is interesting in having no sloped armor, very boxy shape, as well as the übersome Leopard 2
The latter two I even painted according to instruction, like a fuckin pro!
They're the only models I got, and was a result of 3 months without internet... :D

But! Those are all "Generation 3" tanks, awesome as they are, I am curious what the future holds. MBTs were once considered on their way to become obsolete, but that is obviously not true, as they still have a place in the battlefield. Not necesarily in the "tank waves" we've seen before, but as "support mammoths" of sorts, alongside IFVs
