Finished Crysis.
Hunter + Warrior combination for the end bosses is kinda tiring (and unexpected), but it's a great shooter.

Don't play Crysis 2, you will shit bricks, mark my words.

I disagree, play Crysis 2, the storytelling may suck, but it still plays like a fun shooter much like the first, even if it's a bit more linear. Frankly, writing is the last thing I care about in shooter games and, frankly, so do the game devs. So yeah.

I agree but there is a limit when they kill everything that was connected to the first game to please the console public. But if he has no problem with that than by all means, the game is good. But so is CoD.

After playing through Crysis 2 I desperately wanted to revive my faith in shooters, so I've been playing Call of Pripyat Complete and some Bulletstorm.

When it's been revived, I will get the Witcher up and running again. My old saves are gone.

Finished Crysis 2 and by the gods i will never play or think about this piece of crap again. Transition is even worse than DA2 storywise, because they killed all NPCs from Crysis1 and they have the balls to tell you in the face while you play a complete mute masochist.

"My name is Profit!"

Says it all. :)

I've been playing the story mode for COD 4. Still holds up IMO, the sniper mission is still fucking intense (especially waiting for the batalion to pass right next to you).

I'll probably replay COD:MOD2 next, another good but overdone story.

Have tried playing COD4 on multi? I've been meaning to try it again sometime, since it had a great multiplayer which unfortunatly took the wrong direction as for how people played it (no trying to immerse in the atmosphere, but taking uber weapons, exploiting all the camp-spots etc.).

Yes I have over 8 days. It was the first game I played online when I got the internet finally setup for my PS3. It was really fun and still is, the maps are awesome! My favorite COD multiplayer (note I haven't played 1 or 2 either sp or mp). MW2 multi was alright for awhile but became retarded, after awhile people learned that double shotguns can kill from across the fucking map and it was easier for people to camp and all the weapons being essentially the same just made the multiplayer not fun anymore.

Haven't played Black Ops yet and to be honest have no real desire to.

Anyway: Picked up the Splinter Cell pack on Steam. Mostly for Coviction and Double agent, other tha those two I never really got into the games. I'm a MGS kinda guy :smug:

Never liked the stealth in the Splinter Cell games, call me unimpressed but thats just my opinion. But I do agree Chaos Theory was really good, that also came in the pack and I'll install it at some point over the summer.

Well... I believe you, but I'm intrigued to play it.

But I'm not planning on buying it now. Considering I bought Crysis about 4-6 months ago (yeah, I'm a lazy gamer), and it was a bargain, I see no problem in waiting 3-4 years and then buying Crysis 2. Just for the taste of it...

But, to be honest, I've had enough of Crysis for some time. I'm not a big fan of shooters, and though this one is refreshing, I've had enough of it. If I have a desire to play some game like that in the (near) future, I will try Warhead.

I got stuck in Pandora tomorrow so have just played the first and third. Chaos theory def. blows MGS away in terms of stealth and MGS3 is my all time favorite game. Double Agent is super cheap so I've been thinking about getting a consoletard version.

Got the third Humble Indie Bundle and knocked out all three games. Not a bad deal at all for a buck, and Trine alone is reason enough to grab the pack.

Also finished my first playthrough of Majora's Mask which while not as great as OOT, was still awesome.

Anyone here who has ever played the Conduit on the Wii?
I gave that another go after I got tired of trying Halo Reach a second time (which god honest becomes quite boring very quickly).

Replaying Thief 3: deadly shadows(Just finished second:P)
Maybe not so good as TG and T2, but still fun to play. And it has this specific, taffy atmosphere! :3

Bought Defense Grid, because I like Tower Building style games and because it helps speed up Portal 2 release.

I saw Magicka in store the other day, price around 12$.
Buy it, or not buy it? What's your opinion on the game?

I really like the game:

-it's fun
-it's even more fun with friends
-it's hard (solo and before you figure out useful spells)
-you can be creative with the "unlimited" spell system
-music and sound are very good
-it is pretty long for a 10 € game
-you have a few challenge maps if you are into that kind of thing
-it's made by a small independent dev that listens to its fanbase and keeps updating the game

negatives:

-still some bugs
-can be hard to fill a server / find a game

You can always try out the demo (not sure if the demo has been patched) but I would certainly recommend buying it.

Also me and the Doc will show you a good time in Magicka... wait that sounded wrong.
Anyway, waiting to test out my new M16 and Liberty Staff against the orcs, yes you can use the 'nam wizard in the standard campaign. :V

Ahh, you missed the 50% off deal :(

I'd say for what the game offers for the price, buy it without a second thought. Though do try out the demo in case you somehow happen to feel natural revulsion towards the game for some inexplicable reason :P
