General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Working on the Riddler Challenges in Arkham City. I'm liking this game more and more.

Then they would be complaining about a game that was obvious from the begining that it was for multiplayer, to be abotu the multiplayer, it's like complauining that you played New Vegas without playing absolutely any side mission and rapid firing every dialogue and it only lasted a couple of hours, it's as simple as not spending money on something you are not gonna be able to actualy enjoy it.
No it`s not that simple. Not every one is as informed as you or I.So they pick up BF 3 the only thing they know is:the game looks cool. Then they play the campiagn, takes them 5 to 6 hours(tops)to finish it.(Because the campaign is so short.)Now multiplayer part:Have you ever been online ?If you have then you would know that there are punks online that would love nothing more than to tell you how much you suck at this game.I`ll use your example:It would be like Fallout:New Vegas being only 2 hours long, then Bethesda saying"Hey you want to play more ?Team up with this chucklenuts for the next 80 hours. He will just sit there and tell you how you should not play Fallout, because you suck so much.Have fun!"You would be complaining too!

Playing Flight of the Amazon Queen, not as good or funny as its Lucas Arts contemporaries but still a very enjoyable adventure game. I didn't have the talkie version as a kid so the B-movie Italian accents took some getting used to :).

I also just started playing Terraria today (it's currently very cheap on Steam) so far I like it and it seems like the type of game I will enjoy playing many hours in coop.

Still playing BF3, probably going to stop playing the SP, as someone said before it's not really worth the time right now.

If you bought any battlefield game (except maybe BC 1 and 2 cause they are story based) and didn't play online, you wasted your money.

Anyone try Rage multiplayer ?How is it ?

It's good. But you are gonna have your ass handed down to you the first few hours. It takes some time to get to know the maps, weapons and to upgrade your vehicle.

Lies! It's all rockets! :V

Currently playing the Ghostbusters game as it was on sale on Steam, massive nerd gasm from pretty much everything.

This morning i fired up Grim Fandango in honor of the Day of the Dead today. I have been meaning to play it for a while and I suspect I'll play it on and off.

I also started Dragon Age Origins: Awakening. I bought the ultimate edition last year so figure I might as well play through what I paid for. So far the gameplay is the same but the story pretty stale.

Also, has anyone played MAG? I really want to try it but the reviews seem way too mixed.

I saw the first Dead Rising used for $10. Seemed like a great deal, so I picked it up. Wonderful game. I especially love the photography aspect. Now that I think about it, I'm the only one in my circle of friends that like Pokemon Snap as a kid. (You can catch Pokemon... On film! Hur dur.)

Anyway, I finished Earthbound. I didn't want it to end, though. So I'm compensating by playing Mother 1.

I liked Pokemon Snap back in the day's when the N64 was young. Earthbound is also one of my favorite old-school RPG's. The humor on that game was pretty decent and I loved the modern-day setting.

Playing Sam & Max: The Penal Zone. Will be playing all 5 episodes of 'The Devil's Playhouse'. Wanted to start playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution but I just finished Rage and I need a little bit of change for now.

As for Rage, the game is really sweet. It somehow reminds me of the first 'The Darkness' game. I especially loved how Subway Town was designed. But needless to say, those of you who have played it already know how crappy the final mission and the ending was.
