General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Went to a flea market and bought Sonic 2006 for $2 out of curiosity since I heard how bad it was. It's worse than I thought. I somehow had the ability to get to Silver's episode and finish the other two episodes, but the game is broken as hell. I dread having to do the fourth episode and it's marathon level bullshit, but I'm a completionist so I have to. I didn't think a game this bad could exist but it does. Even the $2 price tag I got it for feels ripoff-ish.

Sonic 2006 was pretty bad, yeah. Go play Shadow the Hedgehog instead.

INSIDE is so impressive. Undeniably the best release of 2016 so far, so much love and care has went into crafting this gem of a game.

Gameplay is similar to Limbo. It's a puzzle/platformer in a psychological, mind bending setting. The art is beautiful and there are lots of amazing little details that make the experience feel alive.

Inside is what a gaming could be as a form of arts. its utilize visual storytelling and ambient narrative at its best video game could do. gaming is really could have more potential in narrative than other media be novel or movie

Wasn't there another "Limbo game" with a girl in it? Remeber seeing it and pretty much said nope when she started to talk. Didn't fitt imo :P

Currently playing:

-Dishonored

-Spec Ops the Line

-The Walking Dead season 1 & 2

-TF2

-Life is Strange

Steam sale enabled most of this.

Inside sounds quite promising from what Serge13 and eissa are saying. I got Limbo for free so I'll have to finish that first though before attempting to buy Inside.

Ooooh... Spec Ops the Line. That brings back a lot of memories of a decent playthrough...

Other games I am playing at the moment:

Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone expansion. Story is pretty awesome, way better than the main-quest in the vanilla game.

The Walking Dead Season 1. Pretty emotional, made me feel really sad at some points and the choices you make along the way feel are interesting

ICO. I had the game in my PSN library so I thought I should start playing it and go for Shadow of the Colossus after that. Warming myself up for The Last Guardian. :)

Mario Kart 8. Just bought a Wii U a few days ago and it is pretty fun to revisit some nintendo games after 10 years or so. Mario Kart 8 is super fun and the multiplayer is pretty addicting. I just wish I could log into the eshop. For some reason I can't log into the Nintendo eshop even though I can play games online and have verified my account. I called Nintendo and their solution was to 'unplug the modem and plug it back in again'...

Played Witcher 3, but not the DLC (at least the paid ones) what's it about? Just looking for something general, please don't spoil me m8y.

Have you finished the Walking Dead Season 1? I have, and I need a second to vent, but I don't want to ruin it for you.

Played like 10 minutes of ICO, played like 2-ish hours of Shadow of the Colossus, no idea what's up with The Last Guardian.

Have only played Mario Kart 7 and the GBA version. Don't judge me, okay?

There's an edit function in bright green at the bottom right so you don't have to double post.

I was playing through Underrail but now I think I'm going to have to play Age of Decadence as well...

I'm nearing the end of the main quest now. I so wish I could afford the dlc at this very moment so I could keep playing, but my bank account has seen better days...

I think what I'll do once I'm done is go back and play the first game, then the second. And wait until the dlc for TW3 are on sale or in a nice little package sometime in the future. That way I'm hopefully all filled upp on Geralt (mmm) and can endure the wait.

I'm thinking of checking out Dragon's Dogma for the pc next. Was aching to play it back when it was released on PS, but haven't gotten around to getting it on pc now that I can.

he's right the dlc is way more improvement than main story. the villain of each two dlc are belieavable strong like that you are dealing with ancient evil you cant even fight.
i would call a total 20 hour of play through with lots of headache thinking after finishing in heart of stone, and 130 hour in blood and wine dlc. just beware though, the heat of stone is a change of theme that you'll eccounter more horror feel than the main games.

That sounds awesome. I played through the game when it came out but haven't done the DLC. When I finish current games I am going to play through the entire Witcher series and I can't wait to see the new content.

Sounds great indeed. 130 hours? If that is even close to true, then that is impressive.
