General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Hmmm...you might be correct.
I can't recall if she drops that Hoonta of Hoontas emblem if she dies in a fight with Henryk. If that's the case, then yeah, it's pretty easy to get. You might as well kill her, though that's kinda shitty. Eileen is awesome.

I guess that's the NPC I was adviced to look for when I accidentaly got taken to Hypogen Gaol, I read up the Wiki and her location fits with what someone was hinting at me on the chat. Will do that today, the weapon sounds interesting.

Yeah, when you exit the Cathedral she's on the left, the same exit where the bag man is on the right side of the cathedral. Not the left exit inside the cathedral.

Alright, so I killed both Vicar Amelia (Who also turned into a wolf like creature, so at least people related to the church are werwolves then) and the Witch, both on the first try, which felt pretty good. Been finding those weird Cthulhu things that suck my brains out, they make me sick. I tried to explore the Hypogean Gaol but it kicked my shit in, all those bag men are too tough, but after tonight's level ups I think I am gonna try exploring the place again. Also killed the two hunters, the one with the electirc mace and his buddy with the rifle. So far so good, last time I didn't advance that much but I think I made up for it tonight.

I have been playing an old NES game on and off on the emulator called "The Adventures of Rad Gravity".
I was mostly drawn to it because of it's cartoony sci fi platform action. I also rather liked that its background story in the manual is told in comic form.

I actually did not realize that the two computer thieves in level 2 that were also depicted in the comic were Cheech and Chong until someone pointed it out on a forum.

After I watched Cornshaq going through the game I realized that I missed out on a lot of optional pick ups so I may have to start this game over again. Why did the designers hide some of these in such a cryptic way?

I've recently got my hands on Tekken 7, and for awhile I had been playing MK11 (and a little bit of X)

Bryan Fury might be my new fav character but he's so damn hard to use

Just beat Bloodborne. Got the ending where you turn into a Squid.
I think I will buy the DLC next month, I just need to get back to the point where I can access it again on NG+.

I've been playing KOTOR for the first time recently. Currently on Dantooine, fresh after the first planet. It's pretty good, I'm enjoying it quite a bit. After all that Disney Star Wars crap it feels so nice to experience something that feels a lot more like actual Star Wars.
Also, I highly recommend busting out old CRT monitors for playing older games like that. Looks and feels so much better.

The Old Hunters DLC is both the most high quality part of Bloodborne and also the most difficult. Enjoy.

Because all my saved data on my PS4 got corrupted and erased 6 months ago, I am replaying Yakuza 0 again.

This time I am running the Deep Pockets Shakedown on Mr. Shakedown. Problem, Kiryu's too broken asf now.

That DLC is a bit tough on NG+. Well at least the final boss might be. I was fine on NG+ but I also knew how to traverse it and what to expect the second time around. I also didn't fight the final boss again haha.

So Dantooine is the first one you decided to visit after Telos?

I didn't really have a choice, didn't I? After rescuing Bastilla on Taris you kinda automatically advance to Dantooine and start Jedi training. You might be thinking of KOTOR II, since Telos doesn't even appear in KOTOR. I know it's hard to believe, but there's a non-Obsidian KOTOR game :D

Shit I’m getting the names mixed up I guess? I'm thinking of Taris then, I think. Whichever one you start off on. I was thinking of Tantooine instead of Dantooine, oops. I forgot you have to go there for the Jedi training. Then it kinda lets you go where you want. I started off with Kashyyk. I also missed some content on Dantooine that's not immediately available from what I'm told.

The old hunters is hard as fuck, specially on NG+, it really forces you to play well at all times, not even a second of careleness is allowed. And when I got int othe Rythm and was doing well I got to Ludwig and that fucking horse just attacks at random and can kill me in 2 hits. What would be the reccomended level to tackle The Old Hunters in NG+?

I don't remember level but I found it to be on par with +6-7 weapons and about lvl 40-50 in NG when I was like lvl 105 with +10 weapons? Fuck I don't remember the difference in power for levels that well.

I did DLC in my initial NG so I was a decent level when I went back.

I have been watching some videos on how to kill Ludwig the Accursed, but every single one has them doing shit that with my build I would get one shotted if got that hit. I guess I will just have to brave it by myself.

You can always summon a dude if that's not against your code of first playthrough. There's one NPC to summon normally and another if you equip the League Rune. It could trivialize the fight though, up to you.
