General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Unreal Tournament 3 : looks and plays nice. I've always been a sucker for UT anyway ( even thoguh I still prefer 2004 for now ).

I played the original UT for a long time... good ol' days

Yeah...me too. Bought it the day of its release. Probably the best of the series. Shit, why did they get rid of the assault mode...

Didn't they brought it back in 2004? I remember it there...

Also, Onslaught mode as just as good, too. Fill it with bots, call your friends and HAVE FUN! Atrittion war for the win!

Getting schooled by the AI in C&C 3 again. God I'm awful at RTS'.

Oh, if anyone was thinking about buying TF2; I've got a free guest pass rotting on my steam account that allows anyone to try it out for a few days to see if they like it. Feel free to shoot me a PM and I'll send it your way.

They did but got rid of it with UT3 for some reason...The new "War" mode ( which is actually onslaught on crack ) is pretty cool. I love the Necris vehicules. However, most maps lack of originality despite looking pretty good.

Mercenaries 2.
It's okay. Just like the previous game. Just a few tweaks. Shinier. Bloom. Better graphics.

Same game. I was really hoping for a "create-a-merc".

The stupid button sequences are unneeded.

It's meh. Fun when you just wanna rampage.

I've been playing Mass Effect since i got my new video card. The game is alright the assignments are pretty stale. The whole SCI FI thing is making me crave Space Quest, the later ones that are fully voiced maybe 4-6.

I've returned to GTA San Andreas those days and I'm determined to finish this great game. Learning to fly dismotivated me, but I did some missions for Woozie and the motivation returned.

I just did the last of Rosie's Missions (Freefall, I HATE YOU!! I spent three hours on the hardest flight mission ever!) and "Dam and Blast" for Woozie. Sneaking action is always good.

Tomorrow I'll do "Cop Whells" and steal those bykes (I tried to finish it today, got busted by cops), pull the heist at Calligula and then finish "A Home In the Hills". I tried to finish it, but my parachute fluked in mid-air for no reason and the fall almost killed me. I tried to make it to the roof, and then wave after wave of gangbanger motherfuckers came after me with AK47s. I managed to take some down, but I could't hold out 'til the Triads came. The gangers gunned me down in a spetacular way.

Los Santos, watch out, I'm coming back... the traitor will get his due.

I've been sucked into MGS4.

I'm a huge MGS fanboy, and getting to finish this story has me quite excited. It helps that the game is great.

I beat MGS4 a few weeks ago and... I'm still not sure how I feel about the story. It is a great game, but... I still dunno. I felt the same way about MGS2 also. MGS1 I know I loved. Haven't played MS3 yet.

I'm playing EVE online since 3weeks ago, and I guess I got addicted to it... IMHO It's a good game, for a MMO, but even comparing with offline games...

I played Beyond Good & Evil a month ago or so, and I liked it more than I ever expected to!

I'm glad that you don't have to use violence

Now I'm waiting for the recently announced BG&E 2. I expect much more from it than I expected from BG&E, I just hope I don't get disappointed 8-)

Of all of them so far, Snakeeater is my all time favourite MGS.

Playing Oblivion... with a TON of mods.
Also Castle Crashers on the 360, best recently released indie game out there on the 360 atmo. :P

I enjoyed it to a certain extent. Too bubblegum for me though. Stopped playing after it started really crashing, always had sound problems with it, but it was a fun distraction.

Current list:
1) San Andreas. Runs great on my machine and always has been fun. Might ditch it for GTA III though.
2) Madden 2008. Not the newest, but the superstar mode kicks ass.
3) Americas Army, my old stand-by. Best FPS ever.
4) Bionic Commando Rearmed. It's a blast I tell ya.
5) Thief 3. Haven't started it, but I got it.
6) MAME. Countless games with nostalgic feelings. Freaking awesome.

I still can't get San Andreas to run on my system. Vice City, fine. GTA III, great. San Andreas, no chance in hell.
