General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Armored Core 2. I know it makes me a world-class sucker, but I was one of the few people that liked this series. C'mon-- custom-designing your own mech from hundreds of parts? I'm willing to overlook a lot for that, and since I don't think there was a lot that needed overlooking in the first place...

Besides, if you're good enough, you can blow through 90% of the missions and all of the beefiest Arena contenders in the quickest, shrimpiest, most underarmed tinfoil ballerina of a mech that you can possibly concieve. David vs. Goliath ftw.

I liked it a lot too. :D

I'm currently finishing the different campaigns for Soulstorm and playing my second character in Gothic. He's a primarily magic expert with secondary sword skills. I've joined the sect camp (loonies). Although not much is different in story or gameplay I'm still enjoying quite a bit due to it just being a very good game.

Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

Playing through several console games until a non-trash game is released (l4d). Playing Mario Kart 64 with three friends online is a freakin' blast. Eat your heart out Wii.

Perfect Dark
Star Fox 64
Zelda:Ocarina of Time-Master Quest (HARD!)

Earthbound
Chrono Trigger

*edit*

I am playing the shit out of Star control 2

Can't get enough of that game right now.

And a bit of castle crashers.

I swallowed my pride, took a dive, greased up my thumb and shoved it in my ass, I am playing a Japanese RPG and not hating it.
Final Fantasy 12.

Oi. I couldn't believe how.....not bad it is.
There is no lame love story. No random group of children fighting some almighty being. Political intrigue. Assassinations. Betrayal. It's not horrible. It's not terrible. It's alright. It coulda done with a more refined combat system but the one they have sure as hell beats the fuck outta the old "sucked into random battle" shit.

On a side note.

All signs of the coming Apocalypse.

I'm playing The Graveyard, a game made by Belgian developer Tale of Tales.
You control an old lady visiting a graveyard, it's not really a game since there are no clear goals or awards to be won (except the possibility of death in the full version of the game  )

edit:

Today a friend of mine introduced me to Travian an online browser game, looks relatively promising/time consuming..

Currently playing Stalker SoC with Oblivion Lost Mod, Lands of Lore in DosBox and Fallout 2 (with Killaps patch )in my old PC.

Waiting for Witcher enhanced edition and Stalker CS (Brazil).

Fallout 1+2 :D . Also, Mass Effect PC, Gears of War PC, Silent Hill 2 PS2 (most recent console I own, I'd rather upgrade my PC than buy a new one), Sins of a Solar Empire (excellent RTS game, highly recommend it), Starcraft: Brood War, and I'm still playing GTA: San Andreas while I wait for GTA IV to come out on the PC. I also play several Roguelike games, mainly Dwarf Fortress and NetHack. A little bit of everything :P .

Finished Full Throttle again last night, sublime game but way to short.

Next adventure on the replay list: Woodruff and the schnibble of Azimuth (hilarious and beautiful post nuclear Coktel Vision game)

I'll soon be playing the Witcher, what with the extended version coming out and stuff. Yay!
I also plan on playing some oldschool Point-and-Click adventures. Like the Indiana Jones games and Simon the Sorcerer.

After completing my "Quest for Glory" marathon, I started an X-COM one. I'm currently fighting Tasoth and Lobstermen in Terror from the Deep, I expect to finish it and start Apocalypse within the day.

Are you going for the UFO series to? If so, to lessen the future pain dont forget to patch game and nerf alien missile launcher damage. that way you might finish the end game.
Oh and GZ on the completing of Quest For Glory marathon. Did it once still have fond memories of that.
