Anyway, the amount of presents gets less each year, but my gf did give me one of them gift coupons for a free relax weekend (sauna, massaga, whirlpool, IR cabin, you name it, they have it) and it comes with a free bottle of Bordeaux Supérieur, so that's cool.
And I got a ticket for the Pixies. They're still touring (less vigour, but they need to pay the bills) and they're in Belgium end of May, so I am going. :D
And money. Yeah. I got some money as well. Which is nice. :roll:

I caught them at a festival in Germany last summer. it was kinda disappointing. I mean, it didn't really feel like The Pixies up there on stage, they were so stale and boring. the songs were still fantastic though.
 
Yeah, I know. As I said: they have to pay their bills. But a friend of mine catched them last year and he was still happy to have seen them and all they play are their best songs, so yeah, I'm cool with that.

It's a classic repertoire, innit? Can't go wrong with that.
 
nah, you're absolutely right. I'm glad I saw them, I never saw them before and probably won't get another chance. enjoying some wonderful songs together with a few thousand other people is never wrong either.
 
I definetely wouldnt mind if the pixies came to Brazil and then staged kind of tired. Maybe because theres not a chance of them coming.
