So young…so tender…belated happy birthday UnidentifiedFlyingTard.

Oh god, me and alec are rubbing off.

Prediction, the virus spreads, people die, few are left standing.

John Carpenter returns from the void and makes a really awesome film about it.

Its The Dutch Ghost's Birthday

Hello all,

Its my birthday today and I am turning 31.
I know, as you grow older it starts to loose its relevance as it has lost all its childhood glamor, to that one often comes down to the point that you get presents from your parents and other relatives.

Still I do like to celebrate it and hear from other people I know, its often one of the few days in the year that I hear from them.
As for feeling 31, hah, no I still feel like a twenty year old young man, still trying to understand the world and having a lot of personal growing up to do.
The one thing I do really miss is my abundance of hair, as I grow older I am starting to loose it and I really do not like the prospect of becoming bald.

It is quite a strange coincidence that it happens to be on the same day that the Great War in the Fallout universe started.
I hope it is not an omen, on the other hand it could also be a vision of my terrible wrath on all the people I really do not like. (better be nice to me people, you see what happens when you don't :D)

So far I have received a card from a dear friend of mine from Canada, a facebook message from another friend and a lot of automated messages but I do hear to hope from more people.

I got myself a copy of Larry Niven's latest Known Space book, and the newly released Fallout New Vegas.

Hope to hear from people.

Hey, happy birthday Ghost! Geez, as usual, you guys always surprises me with your age. Anyway hahah, hope you get many gifts.

Yeah, we're getting old :(
Why can't we level up in Real Life as characters do in computers games, instead of deteriorating?

Anyway, thanks

What perk did you pick? urg, just joking

I have to agree, when getting older by one year, it doesn't feel like there's any difference. Happy b-day!

Happy B-Day!
I've hated having birthdays since I was 16, celebrating being one year closer to death is not a fun thing in my opinion. :V

Thanks Nuka-X.

I should have gone for the 'experience' gained perk but I probably choose another stupid one like 'Night Person' years ago, I still suffer from the consequences.

Hi Alphadrop.

No its not, but if the futurists are right we will be able to download human consciousness into computers around 2020, and the boys and girls its Skynet time!

Hello Dutch Ghost,

I will celebrate your meticulous methodology in addressing people you reply to on internet forums.

Thanks BN and Elven6 (BTW, welcome to the forums)

I do always try to be as precise and grammar correct when I write a thread or a topic, or have something interesting to say.
Unfortunate I do fail at both from time to time which is frustrating.

Yeah, I feel the same. Actually I feel worse. I fail everytime. I probably failed now too, in someway I didn't noticed it yet.

It's a classier way of replacing a quote! :)

Happy birthday Dutch Ghost!

Happy belated birthday!

31 is a good age, I think. I'm 24 so I wouldn't know, but I think 31 must feel solid. I'm most scared of 28/29 for some reason.

Hi SkuLL, thanks.

Twenty four is a great age, wish I was it again.
And no, there is nothing to worry about when you are 28/29 unless you really feel that you need to accomplish something before you reach that age.

heh was I suppose to have a family or a career at this age?
Truth is, I still don't know if I am ready for a relation and I still do not know what I really want to do in life other than doing something with games or writing.

All I have planned is a couple of documentaries and a few shorts. I also wanna write something. I never was the family type, so I'm glad I can afford to be a little bit irresponsible.

I think if 'looking for a wife' and 'having kids' were on my list, I'd be a lot more worried about time running out.
