also is the npc armor mod still currently being worked on? or is it complete for all joinable (human and also lenny....(and myron :P)) critters ?

As I know the following chars are done Vic, Cassidy, Sulik, Miria (changed her hair to black), Myron, dogmeat I don't know if Lenny and Davin will see the light in the near future

Good to have you back, Jotisz. For anyone who doesn't know, Jotisz and i worked together on the NPC armour mod.

I suggest that we focus on getting the crucial sets done first:

a) HMWARR (tribal - but he only needs spear and knife weapon sets)
b) HMJMPS (jumpsuit) we could potentially skip the big-gun animations as who's gonna be using a big-gun in the blue pajamas?!
c) HMMAXX (leather jacket)
d) HMLTHR (leather armor)
e) HMMETL (metal)

When the above sets are completed, the mod can be released. The way i see it, i would love to do the following, but they could be considered an optional bonus because the head is helmeted:

a) HMCMBT (combat)
b) HMPOWR (PA)
c) HMNPWR (APA)

Myron only has combat armor currently. Myron metal and Lenny are on the list and may get done one day. All the other primary NPC's (Sulik, Vic, Cassidy) are done and dusted.

I was curious about that one as well so i tried it in just the first frame of the combat armor to see how it looked, and it looks real good:

Something came to my mind while thinking on this thread and the brahim thread.

In fallout to reload the player bends over and do some moves (like he does to steal or lockpick) right?
But isn't there an idle animation where the player reload the shotgun/rifle?

Wouldn't it be possible to replace the "magic-moves" the player currently does while reloading for that idle animation?

*i may be mistaken as i don't remember well if the player reloads with the "magic-moves"*

Yeah - someone mentioned this idea a while back. It's a good idea - but i would guess the code that tells the game to play the reload SFX when the player reloads (WRXXXX1 is the format of the SFX file name) is hardcoded. An engine hack could tell the game to also play the animation though ....

Very easy to get around. It is a very simple code to remove the weapon from the character's hands if he/she is not wearing armor. It operates very fast, and takes place before a crash can occur (already tested). This way, you don't have to make art you don't want to, or, the artwork you have made can still be used even if you haven't gotten around to making certain animations yet.
 
Or could be used the normal character for the frm that haven't created that way the game wouldn't crash either and the player wouldn't be restricted to ue small guns.

I just checked and looks like I only send the download link to MIB88 and Kilap. Well I just corrected it now

I thought I had done more but it is in fact AA and AB for the Metal armor...

I am a few frm from the end of my critter... Wait for me guys! :D

Maybe they got original 3d scenes and they're rendering those critters, but they're doing this to look like made in PS to avoid problems from greedy Bethsoft.
