Gun Control

Don't open your door to the police now. As soon as you open it, you will be shot. All it takes is someone call the police department and make up some story about a guy shooting their dad and keeping their mother hostage.

As soon as the guy opened the door the police open fire. They didn't even tried to see if what the call said was true, no kind of preliminary surveillance, planning or anything.

Well, he should have complied with the police, following their oders by the letter.

Am I doing it right, guys? Guys?!

Yes, instead of screaming at them.
According to his mother, the guy opened front door, started screaming, and shot was fired immediately in response. Sad incident really, cops certainly are not proud of themselves for killing this guy.. Also someone should put a sticker with "PROTECT AND SERVE" on the SWAT car, that would have helped him alright.

Scalper, why did you feel the need to fling it at the NRA *this* time? You just needed to put the news to answer the "well *I* don't see normal white Americans doing nunnodat!", s'all.

Do you think an innocent guy deserves to be killed for screaming?

Do you think an innocent guy deserves to be killed for screaming?
First is immediate threat to the officer, then vague intuition of threat, then being obstructive but inoffensive, then just being kind of a cunt. What's the next standard, looking at them funny or being bla- oh. Well, maybe the officer had a head ache and wasn't up to being screamed at. We all can empathize with that!

Why would an innocent guy scream? Think about it.

Because he's who he is, and sometimes his noggins ain't doing so well.

You have a point here, I always forget the world in which some posters here live. (*Edit, for some reason this also reminds me to this scene. There are no innocent civilians! Just those that havn't comit a crime. Yet.)

Yeah, how could I ever get the idea, that people should be held responsible for what they do.

Why would any intelligent person do any of this? Imagine yourself staring at couple of special forces unit members in combat stance, armed to the teeth, with their guns pointing at your head. Pulling some stupid prank at this moment or going apeshit crazy is basically the same as touching high-tension cable with your bare hand while standing on wet soil barefoot - you will most likely die.

Sure not, just as these thousands stupid people touching high-tension cables all across the globe out of curiosity or stupidity don't deserve to die.

Apparently the US police being a literal force of nature which is physically unsurvibable. Accurate.

Yes, our laws actually made the police units exactly as dangerous as a force of nature - with use of deadly force being delegated to them and stuff, you know. Do you know that there's a lot of suicides committed in U.S. in this way actually, when people deliberately run at security guards in order to get killed fast and clean? Just the same way as many other use rope/gravity, water, or electricity for the same purpose?

Something that we're even close to be called a "source" would be nice but anyway, what are you trying to get across? That making a bigger and bigger divide between citiziens and law enforcement is somehow a good thing, even not regarding executions? Sure, dumb dumb people. Policemen are people too, not remote control cyborgs.

Is this the "they'll use trucks anyway" argument? It is, isn't it?
