Help topic: Identifying books/comic books/movies/anything

I am looking for a book that I read 3 years ago, The only things that I remember is that it was about a group of people that went to a mountain to see why the water stopped going to the village and at the top there was a dragon and the cover has the dragon on it.

Does this one look familiar?

Rowan of Rin

The books are based on Rowan. A timid young boy from Rin, Rowan's life changes when the stream that flows into the village ceases to flow. Without the precious water, the village of Rin is doomed. The six strongest villagers must brave the unknown terrors of the Mountain to discover the answer to the mystery and restore the water's flow. Rowan, the weak and unwanted member of group must go with them, and incredibly, it is his help that the villagers need above all.

I played this game on the Amiga once (early 90s) - you had 3 characters, and one was a Priest, and you ran around a birds eye view world killing other characters, now each of the characters you played had a different weapon option...but I can't remember any of the details, or the name of this game...come on people someone must remember this game. :P

EDIT: After a bit of digging I found it - The Chaos Engine 1993. And there are actually 6 characters not 3, and the Priest is a Preacher.

Hey guys im looking for a music video. The genre is electronic if i remember correctly. The video starts with a couple walking past a yoga studio and they see a poster of a fat yoga instructor (or was it a vid on a tv) calling them to join with hand gestures. Inside it gets all weird implying all members of the class are on some kind of psychedelics. The spot ends the same way it started with a different couple walking and seeing the vid/poster.

I think its a famous group that made it, i remember seeing it on boingboing.

This one is driving me mad. I had this game that was a clone of Stunts/4d Sports Driving (driving game with map editor and things like loop-de-loop), graphically was a bit more advanced (but still no texture mapping) and I'm fairly sure it was published or developed by Digital Integration. It should be easy to indetify it and yet I can't find it. Maybe my Google Fu just sucks. :(

And no, it's not Hard/Race Drivin'.

I remeber as a kid watching an animated halloween movie. The details escape me, but I remember it was a group of kids in halloween, one of them is apaprently bed ridden because he gets apendicitis and the other kids are worried he is gonna die. Then a bunch of weird stuff happens and they visit different places in halloween. Can't remember how it was called.

Not sure if you still don't know the name, but I think that's The Halloween Tree.

I have two ridic tough ones, pre-internet:

1. 1976 I lived for a year in Athens while my father worked there. I spoke and read no Greek, so I rarely got comics I could read. One of them I think I found at the Athens Hilton gift store, was a SGT Rock-type book (most comics in Greece were military style) about a pilot of a plane trying to break the sound barrier, and how whenever it gets cliose to it, a creature starts to appear. Evevntually he breaks the sound barrier and the creature attacks/destroys the plane(?). I think it was on a comic imprint that also did WWII/ghost stories, the kind where a heroic squad member would save someone, and then you'd find out that guy had died the day before, that sort of thing.

2. Really hard one, I think it was a pilot for a network TV show in 1981 (not sure what network) or so, where the main character is sort of a Conan-beastmaster type of guy, but I don't think he had an animal. What I remember most is that the hero had a bow that when he pulled it back, an arrow would appear that could explode on impact (I think). It was a bit like that bow from DnD cartoon, and I feel like the guys' name was Grey-something ( i keep thinking Greyhawk, but I know that's just a conflation of DnD Greyhawk world and this show, I think)

Okaya - I have a book I've misplaced. I read like half of it, but for some reason never finished and then after a few moves it is in one of the ~75 unlabeled boxes of books.

It is a ghost story. About a haunted house  The part that I read told the story of a family that moved in and the father/husband (don't remember if there were kids) was a comic book artist. During their chapter the guy is working on some comic book project that has a female protagonist. Then he starts having these dreams of (guess who? yup - the ghost) a woman and they're so intense that he draws the protagonist more and more in the ghost's likeness. Soon the ghost starts visiting him in his studio during night time and they uh... get romantically involved. One morning the wife/girlfriend discovers the artist dead in the studio with his pants down and horror on his face or something.

I think the title had numbers in it. The street address of the house maybe?

I remember the 90s, there was a cassette, it was mostly white, maybe, and there was like a guy in a white suit with yellow gloves on the cover. Maybe. What is this or do I just have a false memory of a cassette cover?

I have no idea. I just remember seeing it in my dad's car and liking whatever music it contained when I was like 6. All I remember is a mostly white cover and a white suited guy with yellow gloves.

Here is another obscure one, my mind makes me always ALMOST remeber things from my early childhood but omits enough that I am left wondering if it even happened.
There was this cartoon when I was a kid, I think the main character was a Wombat, and he had a granpa that didn't like being called a Wombat. I think there were other similar antropomorphized animals too. Can't really remember properly. Anybody knows what that was?

I doubt this fits the bill, but all that comes to mind for me is Taz-Mania, which was about Warner Brothers' Tasmanian Devil and his family but did have a couple of episodes featuring a Willy The Wombat, including one that focused on Willy's family. I'm afraid I don't remember much more about it than that (at least, not about the Wombat or the presence or absence of a grandfather).

I have a question about a video game controller... Me and my friend have been trying to find this controller for years. It is on the NES, and it has an analog Stick.a D-Pad, Start, Select, A, b, And two turbo buttons. It was a square controller. It is more than likely 3rd party and from what I have found, it is most likely rare... Please help
