I Need Your Help, Personally, Quickly, and Desperately

You are not fat, you look good man.

I mean i'm no expert on beautiful men but you look good.

The way you described your self... i was expecting something nasty.

Eating low calorie foods and not drinking beer or soda is the best to lose weight. You don't even need to work out.

If working out is too much (it certainly is for me) You could always find a job that is serious manual labor. Up in the northeast we have bad winters, so chopping wood all day every day is an easy job to get. Nothing makes you feel more manly than doing 8-10 hours of labor. Roofing, demolition, snow shoveling... Its early, I can't think.

Help me out here guys, what are some good manual labor jobs that require almost no skills?

Anyway, get one of those. The worst most depressing times in my life, esp. when I was heavy, was when I wasn't working. I'd finally get off my ass and start working and then BAM two weeks later I was in great spirits again.

EDIT: Donperkan is being too nice. I'm not saying you are anywhere near grotesque but I can tell there is a really good lookin dude underneath about 20-30lbs of extra Vault Dweller. How tall are you?

Unloading crates from trucks (supermarkets, IKEA, shop retailers etc). Not sure about construction, but I've known a guy who joined when he was 16, so I guess for an adult man it's no real challenge. Work for a month or two, you'll become stronger.

I'm not trying to be nice or anything, he looks a lot like me and my moma sez im a preatty boy

That sure seems like a small amount.

Thanks. Yeah I don't drink soda anymore (haven't in months) and I've never drank beer. I am changing my diet more and plan on 2,000 calories now (down another 200 from 2,200 currently).

I've been at my current job for eight years I can't lose the job security.

Also I'm 5'11".

And you are tall, so

2000 c a day is a labor job man's diet. If you are in an office environment at work, you arent burning all you intake in one day. I think you could shave off a lot more c a day following a few new rules you set for yourself such as:

No deep fried anything.
No Mayonaise or other high c condiments.
Limit red meat intake to 1-2 portions a week.
Do the same with cheese.
Eat more naked fish and naked poultry. (instead of butter, cook in white wine and lemon, or vinagerette)
No white breads. Go with multi-grain.
Avoid 1/2 cal or no cal alternatives. They taste like shit.
Pickles are an awesome diet snack. Almost no calories.
Lemon is your friend.

Those are just ideas to get you going. I followed the above for about 3 months a few years ago (but no red meat at all) and was suprised how, after the first week or two, I did not miss the goodies I was cutting out at all.

Need more info on your current diet. Sorry if you already posted the awnsers to these q's but:
Does someone in your house cook your meals? Are they overweight?
Do you snack often? What is a typical snack for you?
Do you eat 3 square meals a day? Are there leftover meals in the fridge every night to devour at midnight?
Do you bring lunch to work or eat out during breaks? If you eat out, where do you go?

Do as many as you can. If you're able to do more, do so. Alternate between having your palm facing inwards and outward, pull yourself up from all the way down.

if you do real push ups in the correct way 10 can be quite much for a usual person who is not spending all of his time on sport. Believe me. When I spend much time in the gym I tried to do push ups rather slow and concentrating on performing them correctly. They are very great excercises for training because many muscles are used in the process. But as said only if you do them rather slow and concentrated. I am not going to explain how to do them now, as I don't see my self as experienced enough to tell people in detail how to perfom them. Like with many exercises if not performed well or correctly they can do more harm then good also geting informations about that is rather easy any good gym has trainers which can explain it well. Thing is, don't worry if you do just a few. Thats no problem at all. Do them regularly and over time things will become much easier and you can do more.

Best thing you can do is to look for a good doctor (a check up is recomended before sport, really), and someone experienced with sport. I did that and it helped much. Talking with people that have the experience is much better then looking over forums or the net.

Do you mean pull-ups and not push-ups? Because 10 push-ups are a joke and they wouldn't do good to any given person. A teen who hasn't done any sport will be able to do at least 15, if not 20, properly, without getting tired.

Besides, pull-ups involve more muscles and put a harder constraint on them (like abs).

I doubt many people here can do 10 pull ups in proper form.
Pull up is palm out. Chin-up is easier, and palm in.
I can do 3 pull-ups.
Pull ups are awesome though. Do them a lot and you will be able to do a lot of reps in no time. Last year when I did them all the time (the ledge of a stairway, not a bar) I went from one measily pull up to 5-6 in about a month and a half.

thats why I said "correct" push ups. Most people which are not trained cant do them well hence why 10 well done push ups if done correctly can be already enough. Of course I am talking about exercises here and about people which are not in shape, so doing 10 (or more) push ups, pause, repeat.

Love you Crni

[EDIT] Oops I fucked up and read your post wrong. I'm a confirmed asshole. (Just woke up)

For untrained persons, Push- and Pull-Ups will be hard to do, although Pull-Ups will be harder.
Sadly, the bar that I could mount in my doorframe destroys the aforementioned doorframe. I think I'll try the cloth racks in the garden. With gloves they shouldn't be too uncomfortable.

Not sure you're that fat, you are overweighted tho, but I bet you've never hit the gym, have you? Try to see if you can find a gym and have a trainer from there give you a routine that works for you. it'll improve your physical appearance a lot. You can be really thin and still not have a nice bud.

Diet also helps. You are in control of how many calories you want to consume, just don't cheat yourself, write down exactly how many calories, no matter how small it seems so that you can control it. That way you can start to see what things you can adjust on you diet.

But that is if you want to look better, or have a better physical condition for yourself, if it's about women tho, in my personal experience the looks ain't everything, sometimes the looks don't have anything to do with it at all. Many times I've seen women with guys I know for a fact they had far worse looks than me and said "What the hell are you doing with that guy, woman. How come I don't have a girlfriend like you". So I would say it's more about attitude.

I cannot help you in that last one however, I've never been very "lucky" in relationships myself hehe.

Also to be honest I think I'm having more luck with women now that I'm overweighted than I did when I was thin. I might have been thinner, but I also was younger and a different person than I am today. So there, the looks might help but I hardly believe they are everything.

Get a haircut; short back and sides, or shaved sides and styled if your feeling adventurous. Loose some weight, maintain some stubble and re think your fashion choices. No problem.
