Anybody who knows the game industry can easily see the blatant untruths in his SEC MMORPG announcement. And, anybody who has met Herve, who has had a chance to talk to him, and llisten to his words will know the real truth behind this.
However, in all fairness, lets look at the facts.
1. Herve does not have any knowledge or experience with MMORPGs either has a producer, developer, or even participant.
2. Herve is very deep in debt with some of that debt being payroll.
3. Herve has no staff (just himself) and fact 2 will make getting one very difficult.
4. Herve has bankrupted every company he's run - so getting money will be difficult.
5. Herve's past development decisions have resulted in utter failures including critical ones that caused Interplay to go under.
6. Herve has broken nearly every deal he brokered.
7. Herve is lying about having a management staff other than himself, and he has never had any experience with Blizzard.
8. Herve's projection of subscribers exceed those of more well known, more generalized, and more popular genre's.
So we have a down-on-his-luck loser with high-priced delusions lying to cover up his own incompetence in an attempt to hook into the recent gaming trend with an IP he still owns the rights to use.
Either he is lying about having financing; it is very wishful thinking on his part; he found some senile rich retiree; or some stupid French frog died and left him a vault full of money. Regardless, with Herve at the helm, his true nature, lack of intellect, and inflated ego brimming with arrogance will preclude this alleged project from ever making a penny in profit (of course, Herve will still get paid).
