New in the wasteland

Hi all. I´m new around here. In fact i found this site by accident (and i´m glad).
Fallout is my favorite game (1,2 and tactics) and one of the best rpgs ever made. I don´t know how many times i´ve finished it.
I´ve been trying to find some other similar games. Recently, i´ve tried Restricted Area cos it seemed to have some Fallout things. Totaly waste of time... So, if anybody knows some real good rpgs of that kind, please tell me.
By the way, i hope Fallout 3 came out soon. And i hope it will be a classic rpg (don´t mind the graphics) and not an FPS.

Hi everyone,

I am a seventeen-year-old Australian male who is a newbie to both NMA and Fallout (I only recently managed to get myself a copy of both Fallout and Fallout 2 so they're new to me).

Apart from Fallout my interests include the British Sci-Fi show Doctor Who and Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto series.

GTA's really nice. I'm still playing even GTA2 at times. Nostalgia.

But Fallout comes first, that's for sure!

Yeah.

I love GTA but I feel that it really needs to move out of the USA in order to grow because I don't think that the USA has anything left to offer that isn't just "more of the same".

I would like GTAIV to be set in a fictitious version of London or the UK in general with a story focusing on a power struggle between the domestic Cockney Firms and the foreign gangs like the Russian Mafia, Triads and the Yardies etc.
 
London has once already been the centre of GTA attention in "London 1969".

Russian Mafia? Hmm, not bad, but the folks showed up in GTA2 already.

I mean, maybe take the next episode to Australia? If combined with MadMax, GTA could grow even more popular and even attract Fallout fans.

Just thinking.
 
Hello everyone. I am new to the forums, but not to Fallout. I've been playing for god knows how long. Very glad to have found people that actually like Fallout as much(if not more) than I do.

Hello everyone. I've been lurking a bit, joined up, yada yada yada. I like Fallout (surprise, surprise), and I'm currently trying to learn how to script to create my own Fallout 2 mod.
