Introduce yourself! AKA the "Say hello" thread

Hello, Im new to this forum

I have just signed up today, but I don't see a board for new members, so I guess i'll just post here then. Im a regular at gamefaqs, but I also lurked here for a while as well. But as with any message board community, I would like to get to know some of the user personalities, or the regulars that are here at nma, like who is the guy to go for fallout lore or who is in the gaming industry in general, even the grumpy ones. Another thing I want to know about is any board memes you guys have going on , so I will know the inside jokes and stuff. Alright so this is my first post here, and I hope it there will be many more in the future, as we await the new game to come out this fall. Thanks for your time.

We are all grumpy. Besides that there is a thread that is stickied and intended for the purpose of introducing oneself. i think you should make your introduciton there.

Afore I forget, eyup I'm an auld fallout loon who tends to lurk a lot and haver infrequently as mainly what I'm considering saying has either been said or what I'm feeling like saying might act like a bit of old sweaty TNT (ie explode at the slightest shoogle (shake))

Word of advice, from newbie to newbie:
NMA is the best Fallout fan site, but some times it's almost as harsh as the Wasteland.
If you decide to to disagree with the majority of the community, you better be ready to support your opinion with some solid arguments and never flame, spam or troll, because that is half way to accumulate strikes, and after strike 3 it's bye, bye!


Now if your looking for Fallout lore, I guess there are a lot of people here that know a lot about the Fallout Universe, but for what I know Ausir is the human Fallout wikipedia :lol: you can follow the link in his signature to the Fallout Wikia page.

If your looking for news and things like that, mainly about Fallout 3, you can also take a look at briosafreak's Blog, that you can follow the link in his signature.

If your a Bethesda fanboy, well then NMA ain't really the best place for you, but everybody is welcome since they comply with the rules 8-)

I want to say "Hello" too. I am quite a very new Fallout Fan. I know it for years, but I started to play it seriously for some months, and now I am addicted :).
 
I am a fairly recent fallout fan (finding the original games is a bit of a pain these days) and now rank the original games very near the top of my list of favorite games. I also have a love for RPGs of all varieties.
 
Hello everyone...I'm a long time Fallout fan, I started playing Fallout when it first came out, and despite my addiction, managed to make time to buy the second one when it was released...I've had my trysts with Daggerfall, Planescape, STALKER and such, but none of them are quite the same...after belonging to The Elder Scrolls Forums for a while, I decided it was time to join a forum with people who actually loved and appreciated the original series...so here I am...go easy on me... :wink:
 
Hey everyone I came out of the Lurkers too I suppose, long time reader and troller. Played fallout 1 and 2 to death pretty much and im always in a state of replaying one or the other ,fallout 1 currently just came back to the Hub and Tactics with the first Reaver mission. Anyways, glad to be here.
