Introduce yourself! AKA the "Say hello" thread

Hey everyone. I started to play Fallout when Fallout 3 came out. Fallout New Vegas is my favorite, I think I prefer those huge desert areas. :)
Lately, I'm coming back to FNV because I want to make some designs. I usually use Xnalara or Gmod, but I would like to tryout directly on FNV.

Well hello there, I'm William I'm pretty new here. :D I've been playing Fallout since 2003 and I've loved every second, at times I feel I should take a break from Fallout games but the other 99% of my body tells me not to. Have a nice day, survivors.

Name is Rachel. Writer, Critical Thinker, Occasional bard. Started with the brain tumor known as Fallout 3 and went back playing, Fallout 1 and 2, Tactics and New Vegas when it eventually came out.

Really started to fucking hate Bethesda since Skyrim.

That is the short version.

Oh... umm...

I'm Dr Fallout, a hapless mix of a kangaroo and a bear... sort of like Kangabear or Bearoo. Basically I'm Russian and Australian to those who don't get the animal mix. I love writing and role playing, hence being role playing games being my favorite video game genre there is, though strategy is close. I found Fallout 1 and 2 during the Oblivion/Fallout 3 era, never having played them before. The blurb on the back of the Fallout case got me into it and now? Loving it the whole way through. Hated Skyrim/Oblivion/Fallout 3 and loved New Vegas though I haven't played it much.

On the one hand, I welcome you as a fellow Russian. On the other, we don't like Aussies in New Zealand...

Hey,

Been a fan of Fallout since my college days in the late 90s after my roommate introduced me to the series and pencil & paper RPG (Shadowrun). I've always been a casual gamer at heart but had a blast with the Fallout series, mostly the original as I never got to play much of 2.

I plan to rectify that if can I stop playing part one and New Vegas, which is my favorite of the entire series.

Part three was... disappointing. I suppose it made for an OK adventure game though I was expecting something more.

Hello, I'm Joe, long time lurker. With Fallout 4 coming out, I decided to finally start posting. Huge fan of the series since the original game.

WeirdBeard here. Veteran of 1, 2, Tactics, 3, and NV. Eagerly awaiting Fallout 4. I used this place for some mods a while back and decided to stick my nose in a bit, see if I liked it here.

Yo. Big fan of Fallout and general sci-fi. Have completed all games in franchise barring BoS and Shelter, due to the latter being somewhat of an idle game. My friends and I also do occasional virtual Fallout tabletop via roll20, message me later if that interest you. Other than that I'm here to discuss vidya and have fun.

Hello world ... !

Registered for over a year. Now to say a finally hello.
Grew up with Jagged Alliance 2 and Classic Fallout.

Loved New Vegas

Hello, my name is Phexion, I am a highschool programmer (Bit of PHP, VB, Batch, C++) who is friends with Dr Fallout.

EDIT: I mean actual friends, he is right next to me.

Hey all. I thought I'd make an account here to get in on the Fallout 4 discussion, as I'm sure they'll be lots to say (especially if it doesn't live up to the hype).

Fallout 1 is one of my favourite games, and Fallout 2 is clearly great, though I prefer the tone of the first game a little more.

All that said, I unfortunately do get some level of enjoyment out of Bethesda's hiking simulators (Morrowind, New Vegas > Skyrim w/ overhaul mods >>> Fallout 3, Oblivion, vanilla Skyrim), so I'm prepared to catch flak for that; however, I'm not blind to their many, many faults, and I would never discuss them in the same breath as games that I actually hold in high esteem. So I might end up "having fun" with Fallout 4, but sometimes I "have fun" while I'm doing the dishes, so that's not saying much.

You are like a closeted homosexual, just say it already - you love to play those games, there is in fact nothing wrong with being a bethasexual. Embrace your true self, i will even give you a hug.

Someone admits to finding any enjoyment in a Bethesda game?

:I

*turns around, and walks the winding stairs up to the top of the Tower of War*
*fills lungs with air*

AAAARUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHH!!!!

Welcome new people. Enjoying Bethesda games is fine. We won't run you off with pitchforks and torches. We might slap you around a bit though.

Hi, I found out that this is the only place where I can criticize Bethesda games without getting lynched by blind fanboys that doesnt actually plays the game they are defending.

I like Fallout, Warhammer(40k and fantasy, tabletop and video games), Warcraft, anything from Larian Studios and Witcher.

I also like Fallout 3 a lot because I think of it as a non-canon game set in a alternative post-apocalyptic setting. Im also excited for Fallout 4 because Ive been waiting for a new shooter to come out after Wolfenstein.
