Introduce yourself! AKA the "Say hello" thread

Hey guys. I used my real name to make my account because I thought I'd have the option to pick a username afterwards but that didn't happen. Guess I shouldn't piss off anyone so that the kill squads won't come.
By the way Fallout 3 and 4 aren't real Fallout games and 1 is nowhere near as good as 2.
Hope we can all get along!

Hi person that I've never spoken to. I was thinking you had balls for using your real name but nope, you just goofed.

Wee bit late, but here we go.

Hi, I'm Ayelander. Or Tam. Whatever. 20yo shutin from Scotland that plays vidya most of the day, every day.
Absolutely despise Bethdrones/apologists that won't stop shitting on a plate and telling me its lobster thermidor.
Pretty much content to let RPGs consume my free time so that I can indulge in my escapism as much as I need.
Honestly the first time I've been on forums in years, and I mean years.

And I'll be honest, I'm pretty much a lurker most of the time.

I'm Aurelius, real name Antony Sylvestre. I also go by Tony, Anthony, T, and Dickhead, depending on who's asking. I'm 19, from the lovely East Coast of the US, RI originally, then MA, now I kinda move around. I'm a broadcast media major and Journalism minor, though I am thinking about switching to Education minor because I'd love being a History professor.
History and Fallout are just about my favorite things, along with black coffee and cigarettes (which my diet mainly consists of).
I'm also a Leo (if you're one of those fuckers who that matters to), and my favorite music genres include punk rock and classic rock. I played football all 4 years of high school, starting center and nose guard on both sides of the ball. I also play bass guitar (albeit poorly).

I'm available on Facebook, should anyone want to get to know me outside of forums. I'm the white guy with the black T shirt and glasses on in his profile photo who looks like someone just kicked his puppy.

As for what Dan said about kill squads, let 'em come; I've always wanted to die in combat like my hero Alexander.

Greetings and salutations to the denizens of the wastes! I have come to share my presence!

My first Fallout was 2 back in '98. I got it for Xmas. That game hooked me on the series HARD. Fallout 4 (which I thankfully never spent money on) had me looking back really quickly!

I've known about NMA since the early 00's, I think, but only ever came around via specific internet searches for information. I decided to join recently after accidentally stumbling into the depths of reviews & opinions on the series as a whole, which has actually greatly helped me to understand what I do and don't enjoy about games as a whole (and subsequently what it is about modern games that fails to hold my attention). That research in turn led me into the depths of mods for old games. Who knew there were so many mods for the early Fallout games!? (Yeah, I know, slap me upside the head...) The important thing is that I'm here NOW and the healing can begin...

I guess I should do this, didn't notice this thread before.
I'm Squadcar, I'm not a cop. It's a nickname from a movie and I had no say in it. It just stuck and I embraced it.
I've known about NMA for almost 10 years but with more free time at my newer job I decided to browse here and another forum when I have the chance. I don't like playing games with mods (unless they're fairly necessary) on my first playthrough. I used to play music but I've been busy between life and work enough to not have time for that and games. I started recording most of my playtimes and completion dates for games and keeping logs of games I've played in general whether I beat them or not. I had no delved into the better side of RPG games until 2017 and I feel late to the party but I really enjoy some of the older titles in the genre.

Heya, new member here. Heard a lot about you guys for so long. Just a short time after I first played FO3 a decade ago, I've already heard about the group of FO1/2 fans who loathe FO3. Can't say I blame you. This does look like a watered down version of FO1/2.

Anyway, FO4 sucks, and I hate it for its lack of karmic choices. F*** you, Bethesda. That's all I have to say.

Nice to meet you, NMA. Hope we could be friends.

Hello from the NCR! I’m a loooooong time lurker from 2008. I shamefully had no idea Fallout existed prior to 3, but fell in love with the lore and everything about it as soon as it become known to me. Still playing (and now fully modded) New Vegas to this day! I plan to start F2 soon, maybe try to finish F1 again. But anyway that’s me, I really love you guys.

Hello, I'm a fairly new big fan of the Fallout Franchise and would consider it one of my favourite game series. I hope to discuss Fallout things with everyone and spread the word of Atom! Not sure what else to say, my first Fallout was Fallout 3, never really played any of the OG Fallouts as I was but a little kiddy and computers were expensive back then, They still are expensive!

Hey. I came over from Zdoom forums, but would like to join to discuss Fallout series, where it is heading, and where it has been. My first Fallout game was Fallout 2 (it was going cheap in X-games, germany), and been an ardent fan since then, as well as a wide variety of post-apocalyptic fiction. Looking forward to meeting you.

Oldfart that has stopped working and now has nothing better to do then post on a forum i used to lurk when i had hair.

Brotherhood of Steel is my favorite Fallout game. Tootles.

Mid twenties, local neighbourhood type guy. I like having sex, with pretty women and fuck up their credit. Also I'm on the classical FO wagon, yuurp I'm one of them people. Haven't played FO4 nor do I indtend to do so.

I joined in 2016 because mods and never bothered saying hi. That was rude I suppose. I'm probably actually gonna start interacting instead of just reading so might as well.

I work in PR, eat unhealthy food, play RPGs and watch anime. My only regret in life is that I don't actually own a dakimakura (Body Pillow).

Hello, long-time listener, first time caller.

I have lurked these halls and NMA since around 2002(?I think?), finally decided to grab an account.

So, hello, all.

Hello!! I'm JKRDU, or Junyoung, which is my real name btw.

I'm not a huge fan of Fallout, but I love most of the games in the franchise.

My favorite fallout game is New Vegas, Loved 1(except I never get to finish the game due to a bug that I encountered..., never played 2, 3 was okay, don't like 4, and Hate 76.

Hey there. I like Fallout. I prefer the older stuff, but I have sunken plenty of hours into every main game, but I do not intend to mess around with 76 for obvious reasons. I hope we can survive this nuke of a videogame together.

Hello, I'm a huge fan of the original games, started with Fallout 2 when it was brand (was 13 at the time..) new and only got to play the original afterwards.
Now have a 13 year old who I couldn't pay to look at the things I call him over to check out for more than a few seconds.
Thankfully, I have a 9 year old daughter who is interested and loves to learn about the lore from me, and thinks things like "Oh Well, I thought there weren't any children because this might be the European version of Fallout 2" are as hilarious as I do.
I've been lurking this board since at least 2000 because I recall finding it while Baldur's Gate 2 had just been released. During the past weekend I finally decided to try Fallout of Nevada, having seen the notice that the English translation was mostly complete, and figured I'd finally begin posting because I just had to express my gratitude for the work which went into it. Knowing my history with forums I'll possibly never post again, but just in case..

I guess an introduction can't hurt for my first post, he he. I'm a huge fan of FO and I can't believe I didn't know this forum existed until now. My favorite game in the franchise is New Vegas, which unfortunately I have yet to play any of the DLCs for it because my PS3 decided to take the long nap the day after I acquired them. I've spent countless hours playing 4 and still suck at settlement building. I'm more of an explorer, and I also like to shoot things.

I look forward to interacting with you folks!
