Introduce yourself! AKA the "Say hello" thread

I'm not Lark, I'm not related to Lark in anyway. I just fell out of contact with all the ole Fallout peeps when DAC closed. I haven't seen Lark posting here, but if she does, excellent. It outmodes my name, I suppose, but it beats tacking on Version2.0 like I had to do at DAC. I don't know what it is with me and accounts, but I've signed upat both DAC and NMA and then lost the password because that email was taken away.

I'm rambling on, I'll let you get back to the MYSTARY~! of my identity.Or you could catch me in #Fallout, now that I can get Gamesurge to work again.:)
 
Welp, I feel shamed.

:oops: I just read the sticky rules... silly me. So I deleted my own post... why bother admins.

Anyway, this is my hello.

I have been visiting this site off and on for the last few years.

I got into Fallout cause my fiance handed me a copy of FO:2 ... I got totally hooked and bought myself a copy of FO and FO:2.

I played tactics... hoping for at least a little FO... didn't hate it but....... just isn't the same. Few things I liked though... like I'd like more control over the look of my character for FO3... and the fact that my fiance made me a mod with my Fem Squad... a squad based entirely on my FFRP characters... pics and all... Anyway... if I start talking about my fiance... I'll never stop so... STOP Ro... STOP..

There... Anyway, decided to finally register with all the hullabalu around... I may not post much... unless I feel like I have something to say... or ask.

Feel free to ask me anything... I'll answer if the mood strikes me. :wink:

Other than that... well time will let you know me.
 
I've been posting here for a couple of days and now its too fucking late and I cant sleep. So i thought it'd be nice to write an nice "introducing me" post and hope someone will actually read this and care.

So.

Hi, i'm Hirle im a 20 year old Cognitive Artificial Intelligence (AKA stuff with computers) student from Holland. I'm a long semi-long time (2/3 years) NMA reader and a long time lurker/sometimes poster (under various nicknames) in the BIS/Interplay RPG scene. A couple of days ago i signed up here, because i was reading the about Bethsoft FO3 thing, read the discussions and wanted to add my 2 cents. And most importantly because i had nothing better to do :D

My favorite game is probably Planescape Torment closely followed by both Fallouts. I also like(d) BG (1 didnt care that much for 2), lots of old school point and click adventures, even some console (dreamcast) games like Shen mue which is totally brilliant... and a lots of other stuff.

hi, name's rikus, once i was a gladiator in a desert world called athas, anyway it was destroyed because of lack of inspiration, so now i'm jerking off on these forums hoping to get my muscualr half-breed body a chance to prove my self worthy to those who call themselves "fallout fans", which really means, people that have hope where anyone with 1iq could see there isn't..well we are all smart by our own standards i guess.

Thats a bit of a blur :) ...but back in the Council of Six Days i used Thoron, then Iplay (or was the Co6 at bioware? ...hmmm) updated their boards to a very sucky layout/system. So i moved over to BG:Chronicles where i posted mainly on the planescape forums under the name Broken One. Then BGC moved their forum over to gamespy (i think) which i didnt like much either so i stopped posting all together. On the recent Interplay boards ive been posting a little under Vacuum Vulc. Bottom line: I cant seem to stick to one nick, and never was a well known scene person :( ( :D )
