Is NV too much NCR-Sided?

The Imperial guards in Morrowind were tough as shit though..... argh... death sentence *shutters

Yes City guards not only legion were able to beat the fear of gods into your low level PC. Temple Ordinators epecialy but soldiers in forts were meh... Especialy those orcish mobs in Fort Darius. Anyway it's natural in RPG that wining faction is not best one but best liked by players. Since Keiser Soze Legion didn't win me I'm OK with NCR being central to the game.

Keyser Söze

Though I wish the legion even as simple "evil" force would have been fleshed out much more giving you a few or even just one (but therefore WELL WRITEN) companion which could be seen as clear suporter of the legion. Yeah it is kinda strange how in 70% of the locations you will be either hated or atacked when siding with the legion. Doesnt speak much for them though.

I was just thinking this as I played through the first few hours of my Legion-game. I really only encountered NCR wherever I went, and the only thing to do was of course to kill them all, and all I could do was exchange the tags down at the Cove. There are so many early-game NCR-things to do, but only plain violence if you want to hang with the legion. Disappointing. They could have thrown in more terrorist-like quest, or assassinations or whatever. NV seems to want you to side with NCR and I found that really annoying.

I hope the Burned Man will make an appearence in a DLC as a Follower. That'd make Legion play pretty cool, assuming he won't want to exact revenge on every Legionaire he sees. Perhaps being able to overthrow Caesar and install Graham in his place?

Yeah, i really hope so too. I think he could be a kinda Darth Vader Figure, wearing some cool badass (power?)armor to hide his burns, turning at his former emperor =)

The game doesn't exactly paint a flattering image of Joshua Graham though. The battle of Hoover Dam loss was his fault after all.

I'd prefer Graham to be the strongest companion, but have him be a total asshole who just wants to see people die.

^They did have a companion in Van Buren called the Hanged man who pissed off everybody. The vault even compares Graham with the hanged man. Maybe they might take that from VB

Well I would like him to be a bit more complex then just that. A tourmented character seeking for peace with him self, both from his past and the hate with the legion (eventually).

+ 1

One dimensional characters with little motivation other than wanting to see people die has no place in a Fallout game, in my opinion.

Even Orion Moreno is a deep character, and he's the closest thing to it.

Leave the poorly written characters to Bethesda.

Fallout New Vegas: The Rise of Billy Graham.

I know they can't be the same person, and being a descendant probably isn't a point in his character, but I can't help but laugh at the idea of that old preacher killing Fiends with his bare hands.

Correction: giant, pissed off, hardcore old preacher crushing puny Fiend skulls with his bare hands.

Correctertion: Giant, pissed off, hardcore old preacher that crushes puny gay Fiend Skulls with his barehand while deciding what Jesus and God would think he's awesome for doing it.

That and he's made of leather bibles.

HUGE SPOILERS AHEAD!

It's funny that if you think logically, only siding with the NCR allows some justification for not wiping out the BoS bunker (of course Col. Moore don't like it, since it was they who put her behind a desk).
With Yes Man, Legion or House the only outcome is destroying them, there isn't a single argument for not doing it.

And people say that Veronica character is fan-service.
So yes, the game towards heavelly to NCR.

Legion needs a DLC and a huge one, because there's a lot of things missing in their story, motivation, building up, etc.
Can anyone explain me why only in the last battle they use high-level weaponry, like the Marksman Carbine or Anti-Matherial Rifle, unlike the other factions?
Also I would like it to see in this DLC a module for the hardcore option that allows you NOT TO GAIN so much experience, making levelling more slow.

I know that are mods for this (I use them!), but it would be nice if they integrate this in the game.

My argument towards not doing it with Yes Man was that they weren't bothering me. And I got very positive endings. I don't think that it's absolutely necessary to wipe them out.
