Full-time student of Russian Studies (Language, Linguistics, Law, Economics, History and Literature). Considering tagging on either full-time history or a minor in American Studies next year/semester, we'll see.

Part-timer in the horeca, mostly working as a bartender at a rather large bowling hall/grill cafe. Good job, pays too little. Soon I will tell them to pay more or go do something unpleasant to themselves.

A student suffering from a Sheepish-World-Domination egotrip.

I study furniture design (4th year). In the summers I work as a Interior designer and I do some freelancing as a visual artist/graphical artist/webdesigner/overall design crap.

I was in the army for one year as a tank driver. (imagine a psychotic sheep with a tank...muahahah!)

Hmm...hobbies. I like to cook (almost went to study it), drink a hellawa lot of espresso (hmm..I should probably find a summerjob as a barista), beer...me love beer and I try to as much drawing and concept design as possible (real life concepts and gaming industry...might get lucky).

Girlfriend can also be counted as a job. If I have a ego problem...well she?s got something much more worse

A penis...?

I've pretty much decided to study bioengineering next year. Later, I want to study genetical engineering.

I?ve pretty sure she?s evil and talks of things I don?t understand. Not sure if this can be seen in other females. What do you think? Do you understand your females? (I?m pretty sure they are all evil, but hey! Phoontang is phoontang.)

Being a boyfriend, husband... name it what you want. It?s a job.

I'm a CH-47D Chinook Helicopter Crew Chief for the US Army... currently sitting in the S1 Shop of Rear Detchment till my unit comes back from iraq.

I'm a full time student and football player, in the offseason i work for my University's 'grounds' department and get paid 7.50 per hour to play rummy.

Retired US Navy radar and communications engineer, electronics engineer, computer engineer (not PC or any other IBM OS, though programmed in assembly), micro-miniature repair specialist. Before that, I was an interface tester for a university alumni software design group, as they created new programs for the UAF, and that is where I got my contacts and involvement with a number of game companies, MicroProse, Sir-Tech, and Origin of note, even if it wasn't direct involvement with a couple of those (BBS Sysadmin for a number of years, too). The other, through my presence in SCA events and MUD programming, let me into the world of CRPG design and taught me how to make a world come alive. It also showed me how to and how not to treat a game license, multiple times over. I still love the ironic example of Warren Spectre. How's the consoles now, buddy? ;)

Right now, I currently work in the open-source software community, but as of recently I have been getting back into commercial work. I can't really divulge any more than that, except that when it's done, NMA folks will be the first to know and play it on my part. The rest of my team has their own preferred selective shareware community they want to share with, because they know the audience is something that will enjoy it, and cultivate a good core fanbase before bringing it to open market. UDIC included. One thing about indie projects, you can sell them to your target audience and pick your fan base, if you know how. ;)

Student, between majors at the moment.

I will soon start a part-time job driving buses. It is one of the few jobs currently available to me that won't have me resorting to slitting my wrists. Pretty much entirely to finance a decent living space, which is damnably hard to find in a small college town.

Awesome thread idea TorontRayne. Damn this is informative.

Glad to see so many pursuing their education even if they have to work crap jobs to do so. Its not so bad anyway is it?

Particularly Montez. I would be very jealous if I was a more emotional person. You get better pay and benefits than me and your job is much more fulfilling.

As for me...I'm in my third year of working at stores. I've spent over a year at this one local grocery store as a cashier and my last job was worked exactly one year as a cart-pusher (sisyphus!) at a Wall-Mart. I miss the job believe it or not.

I'm also currently taking college part time. Should have my associates degree by the end of this year in Biological Science.

"Self-Propelled"? Does that mean they load you into the cannon and shoot you out?

Elissar's position is even funnier somehow.

Sincerely,

My position is funny? I'm a damn Finance clerk for Batallion Rear Detachment S1 shop. I file leave forms and COLA Change's.... My job right now sucks... I need a helicopter.

Forgot to mention earlier I'm a student too. Communications w/ emphasis in literary journalism.
