Luck Fallout 4 SPECIAL video

I wouldn't go as far as to say Bethesda fans have worsened the games industry by a large amount but it does boggle my mind how there's so many people out there who mindlessly praise everything BGS does and post about how ridiculously hyped they are. Some people say they are more hyped for Fallout 4 than The Force Awakens. I mean, not saying that either of them will be amazing but how the fuck can you even compare the two?

I am a Star Wars fan, got my tickets for the premiere.

But I am way more hyped for Fallout 4 than for the new Star Wars. I can't even compare the hype I have for the new Fallout with the hype for Star Wars. This is my most hyped/anticipated game (hell most anticipated release of any sort) in my life.

Call me what you want; mindless, idiot, missing taste, Bethesda fanboy, whatever.
I played Fallout 1,2,3 and NV and I liked all of them, just like millions upon millions of other people. You can circlejerk all you want but the millions of people hyped for Fallout 4 aren't all stupid or Bethesda slaves. They are people who genuinely like all the Fallouts.

Many people on this forum however have a very snobbish, condescensing, often hostile approach to anyone with a different taste and that is quite sad.

Welp, sorry I value my money. I should just like everything and never think critically about anything.

Also, holy shit.

Has there been any hands-on previews of this game?

Two weeks out from release and the only info is the steady trickle of meaningless videos from Bethesda.

That's kind of scary as a consumer.

It's the reverse-hype gambit.

Just as bad as over-hyping.

Probably worse.

Why is it scary? You can wait for all the reviews and walkthroughs/opinions of people and then decide whether you want to get it or not?

Most people who are getting this game right away would have done so if Bethesda only just posted a logo and release date and nothing else.

Blindly getting a game is sad.

Then don't buy the game blindly?

If you are buying it blindly you probably like all the BGS games and trust them. If you don't trust them don't buy their games right away... don't see the problem really.

"people hyped for Fallout 4 aren't all stupid or Bethesda slaves."

I Don't get it, are they mindless drones or not? Make up your mind.

If they have enjoyed all the earlier BGS games and Fallout 3 is one of their favourite games these people are not mindless drones for buying this game blindly.

If you didn't love earlier Bethesda games you would be an idiot for getting this one blindly.

I don't see the problem with criticizing the game either, yet you came here to complain about it....

I didn't come to complain about people criticizing the game! I think that looking at the game critically is useful and great.

I complain about generalizing all people that are loving the Bethesda Fallouts and being hostile to people with different tastes.

Uhmm no, gettign any game, or Buying ANYTHING blindly is idiotic.

I always follow news closely on new games I am interested in, SPECIALLY sequels because they might have done stupid shit like removing the entire skill system and dumbed down the dialogue system to 4 choices at a time. Being an informed costumer is never idiotic, being an unpaid shill tho... that's just as stupid and sad as it gets. By acting like a blind all consuming sheep just tells companies they can get all the money they want out of you no matter what they do.

I enjoyed Fallout 3 and NV. I have watched every bit of news about Fallout 4 and everything I see makes me more excited. This game is shaping up to be fantastic. Of course I will watch the reviews on metacritic first, but I will be shocked if it will be under 90.

All in all, I have never been disappointed by Bethesda before, everything I see from this game makes me more hyped and I liked all the changes. So the chances that I will not like this game are fairly slim.

Tell me, if you have seen all the news, how can you even think that the game is "Shaping up to be fantastic" when it literaly removed all the Skills, dumbed down the dialogue to the point where the player is limited to "I like / Don't Like" choices?

Most people who are getting this game right away would have done so if Bethesda only just posted a logo and release date and nothing else.

Which is why it's scary.

It's kind of hard to get word of mouth and press reviews if nobody has access to the game until after the release.

For all we know, this could all be some elaborate farce and when you open the game case there's nothing in there but some farts and a bunch of dead spiders.

Man, I wish i could see another comment from trey, Shit talking this miserable piece of mutated shit. Aka Fallout 4.

Anyways, nothing they have shown has convinced me by any means that they care about their product in the sense of making it better. They just want to make a game that can appeal to anyone and that anyone can play. Nothing deep or unique about it. Fallout 3 sucks dick, Fallout 4 will also, tis is the cycle of Bethesda Games.

"Buying things blindly is smart"

Man I seriously hope this kind of people can't vote...

IF you liked Fallout 3 and Skyrim, I would say that you will probably like Fallout 4. Bethesda's livelyhood depends on that. That being said, even if I was a fan of their games I would still not preorder before reading some reviews...just in case.

Never preorder, you'll just get ripped off.

Shaping up? Into what? They haven't released anything outside of "Shooty shooty boom boom" to show it to be shaping up into anything.
