It goes on about how luck will matter but how often did Luck matter in Fallout 3? I mean, Luck should matter when it comes to everything IMO. Picking locks, hacking computers, bombs exploding. From what I've read it seems like all it does it determine how quickly you can charge up your crit attack in VATS, and since I don't use VATS...

Something I'm still wondering is if criticals ONLY happens with that button, are Sneak Attack Criticals gone, for example?

I wouldn't mind them being gone, they're OP as hell. Though it would seriously nerf the "sneaky" playstyle.

Damn you guys are fast, the video was just released an hour ago.

I still cannot believe how much they gimped everything! Luck only affects the amount of crap you find in containers now? What the hell? What about criticals? Can you only score a critical now by just using VATS? I don't understand why would they make it that way? I can't remember how many times criticals saved my ass in Fallout 1 and 2. This is really stupid man, why the hell did they have to mess with the stats system again. Beth-shit-sda making RPG's for idiots since March, 2006.

"What's this? Only scrounging up duds?"

Implying that this is not the only outcome in a bethesda game - lol.

I will miss blackjack. It was almost like a big part of the series. Assuming of course that there won't be any sort of gambling in Fallout 4 but it does seem very unlikely.

Also I like how this pre-war video shows with almost 100% certainty that caps of all things will be the currency in a post-apocalyptic world.

a barter system which might even depend on the skills you chose would be way to confusing. I mean people just want to end conversations and shoot NPCs in the face, can't get bothered with an economy class!

It's Bethesda. It's expected that they wouldn't feature gambling. If Bethesda tried their hand at a new gambling game like Caravan, they would probably botch it and the rules would be unbalanced/broken.

Oh yeah another dump stat! Only tied to vats(don't use) and randomly generated loot, also why the hell is the Bloody Mess perk under luck?

Yeah, Bethesda fucks up again. No surprise there.

I really wish i could see why so many people actually buys their games. I cannot for the life of me find out an objective reason why Beth games are popular other than the fact it's easily digestible rubbish that appeals to anyone with the intellect of an nat and doesn't care beyond anything than what they can shoot.

Who needs consistent story and good rpg mechanics when you can just make an all in one bland indivisible system that allows you to be anything on your first play through.

Who needs Gambling and the small, yet crucial little things that give life to an environment, Such as Black jack, Caravan. Players don't want to use their brain. They just want to loot up another ruined building for another 50 times. While sucking some Todd Howard cock and complaining about how EA are an evil company because they do Season passes while handling over their money to Bethesda.

Seriously, If you are honestly a fucking Bethesda, Reevaluate your taste in games and see if you are the reason for the video game industry crash that looms over our head.

BECAUSE YOU SHOULD CONSIDER YOURSELF LUCKY TO SEE BLOOD IN A MODERN GAME THANKS TO ALL THE SJWS RUINING GAMING WITH THEIR SENSUAL LADY PARTS.:V
Haha I see what you did there, good point though since blowing a lady to bits could mean "objectification". Anyways I think this arbitrary perk placing is plain stupid with no thought put into it.
Turn based would of been better than this crap since VATS is useless when I use my super accurate mouse and keyboard to headshot every time making the game easy combined with Bethesda's broken "stealth" and super brain-dead AI. Granted they give the enemy +2 billion extra health on the hardest difficulty.

Man.

Skyrim with guns is going to give me many hours of snark bait.

I can feel it.

Though, I should get in on the business of finding a rube I can scalp the Pip-Boy frame to.

The only thing better than larfs is money.

I wouldn't go as far as to say Bethesda fans have worsened the games industry by a large amount but it does boggle my mind how there's so many people out there who mindlessly praise everything BGS does and post about how ridiculously hyped they are. Some people say they are more hyped for Fallout 4 than The Force Awakens. I mean, not saying that either of them will be amazing but how the fuck can you even compare the two?

I think the answer is very simple. Most people who praise Bethesda have little recognition and appreciation for good storytelling and the kind of original world building seen in first two Fallout games and FONV. They love the superficial stuff, like cool-looking power armor, dogs, and shooting things to 50s music.

And here I thought I was the only one pissed about the fact that there's a FUCKING critical hit bar that you needs to fill up in order for you to execute a critical hit.

I think it's silly how many people on those videos comment on those videos saying "I have a boner i'm so hyped". I mean yeah it's cool you're excited for a mediocre game but have some dignity.
