edit : added ini setting for Custom Books in the ini of the Random Loot mod,that way vanilla will still spawn if it is not installed

Just got the car, put some stuff in the trunk, saved the game and then loaded and trunk was gone. Before ever going anywhere in the car.

Just reporting the bug.

EDIT: I then proceeded down to San Fransico, told Vic Sulik and Klint to stay there by the bunker, and talked to the brotherhood guy, I went and saved the game standing beside the car at the exit. Went to Navarro and now when i try to load that save, it crashes the game.
 
downloaded megamod from mysite?we fixed that in different version,try downloading it from my site,if you didnt

I got back to the car, latest previous save was back when I first got to Vault City. Anyways, got back to the den and got the car, put some stuff in the trunk and saved it. Loaded up perfectly.

I then walked into the residential area and back and the car was gone. I checked both east and west zones where the car is parked, and it wasn't in either one, walked around the residential area in case there was a spot there, and there wasn't.

So i reloaded and got in the car, and zoned back into the den and the car didn't disappear. So hopefully the only little problem remaining is if you don't get in the car before you leave the zone initially. I'll post an update if I have any more problems.

i know why thats happening,i will put in checks that if the player has the car(tried that before,but my code was buggy) anyway,i will find a way(may take a while)

I got back to San Francisco and it crashed on me again upon trying to load the save. But I did a bit more testing and I think I've found the problem actually doesn't have anything to do with the car.

It only seems to crash if I've told my party members to wait, then save, zone out, and reload the save. And I've only had it happen in San Francisco. I have Vic, Klint and Sulik in my party. I had my party wait over at vault 13, and had no problem with save/loading there or in SF.

But I've found a few bugs with the car also. If you click on the little triangle in just a random place in the world map, where you zone into the big square empty place with exits on all 4 sides, the car isn't there. This also happens if you get pulled into an encounter in that same type of area.

EDIT: I just got pulled into an encounter with hubbologist in one of those empty zones and the car was in the middle. So .... guess its hit or miss.

that could possibly be the too many items bug(maybe not)have the prog to un-corrupt saved games?try that if not then donno,new bug

When entering Primitive Tribe village and shore, the screen is outside the scrolling bounds making it impossible to play this map. Using 2.4 map files doesn't help.

Also, almost all enemy critters are coward and run away from combat independent on difficulty settings. No fun :cry: For example geckos in Arroyo and Toxic Caves, slavers attacking the Farm.
I stopped playing the 2.4 because of this and I've been waiting for another version, 2.42 is the same.
 
these map bugs are fixed in the next release,the problem is that the maps were changed and the hires folder that is being used is megamod2.35,the ini files have been redone,for now,open hi_res.ini and set map edges off,that will allow you to see all of the map(the ones that are borked)

bug: if I give Power armor to Klint and make him wearing it, he gain some extra carrying weight. this is normal. but when our team goes to another level in Military base, Klint loses all of it, and when removing armor - loses even more :crazy:

and one more painful bug - leaving teammates to wait on 4th floor of military base and then saving seems to be corrupting savefiles. damn :evil:

bug: there is no possibility to get "idolized" attitude in Klamath, Den and a few more places. also getting orphances out from streets has no influences on karma.

edit: bug: game freezes when leaving Vault 14 after descent to a lower level of it or after killing Ardenius and leaving power armor to doctor.
bozar has no text label тв any sounds for burst mode.
in NCR if trying to blow up or kill with weapons any of guardians of trader (bazaar location) or just plant explosive and wait - game crashes
car sill disappears in vault 14, vault 23, carson city, sometimes - in reactor 7, and almost always - when I chose to go directly into the part of city without exit to worldmap

suggestions - add more cigarettes and smoking weeds into the game and give them and alcohol possibility to cause an addiction
also would be great to see karmic (or not) perks like "VC citizen", "NCR Ranger", "Bounty hunter"(reactor 7), "sheriff" (Redding), "brahmin free contest champion", etc, .
somewhere on screen add the clock
add reaction check every round of combat (so it became really useful)
and even more ruined cities ( i think, they should stay on worldmap)

I posted in wrong topic so im repostin m problem here:

Hi iv got a problem with the Vault 23 location. Stricktly talking with the elevator that u unlock with the key card to enter the vault. Ive read some previous posts and problems with elevators but as i asume u where talking about elevators already inside vault 23 and BOS facility.

My problem looks like this. I came to vault 23 Location and i can walk pass the closed elevator door like on some wallhack and run inside the cliff wherever i want. when i use the keycard from the survivor in robes on the elevator door it opens up but still nothing changes. I can no longer use hands anwhere on the lift after the doors open and walking inside the elevator doesnt take me anywhere like there would be no map changind grid like on map corners, that u use to change location, neither does any window pop up with levels like in other lifts. I alread deleted the ";" comment kley in ddraw.ini at the elevator line and when i download the full megamod 2.42 from Nirran's site ( 20 mins ago ) my save files stop working after instaling it :S It there any solution to this problem without reinstalling the patch and corrupting the save files :S ? I remember i installed megamod patch by patch, not the full version at once ( i did 2.35 full on clean fallout > 2.40 > 2.41 > 2.42 )

Please help me some one i dont feel like starting again to explore vault 23

download full version of MM 2.42 from Nirran's site or send an email to him and probably he will send you fixed scripts in answer :D

edit: oh... you were using MM 2.35? then only email will rescue you. reinstall FO and MM you are currently using, then copy acquired scripts into "scripts" folder.

2.35 saves are not compatible with 2.42. As for the elevator problem I've yet to make it that far.
 
nope im using 2.42. I just said i patched this way 2.35 full then 2.40 patch , 2.41 patch and 2.42 patch. I already tryed reinstaling with full 2.42 from nirrans site and saves get corupt...

so, reinstall 2.35 version and copy your saves
